No gas, no bloat, just clean, delicious food made with high-quality, grass-fed meats and fresh veggies you can actually taste. The flavor is amazing, the portions are spot on, and the meals leave me feeling full, light, and satisfied -- not stuffed or sluggish. My favorites rotate weekly, but every single one has been a hit. No mystery ingredients, no sodium overload, just real food that fuels me. And let's talk about price -- for the quality you're getting, it's honestly underpriced. I've paid way more for food that didn't even come close to this standard. So if you're tired of meal prep food that smells like gym socks or tastes like salt bombs, give Smart Meals a try. Your stomach -- and anyone sitting next to you -- will thank you.

I love Indian food, but I have no idea how to make it myself. I tried rotizen for the first time a…read morefew weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend (Thanks Samantha L!). After seeing that one of the standard options had cottage cheese, I emailed the company to see if a vegan box was available. Within a few minutes, I heard back that it would be no problem. Yay, just what I like to hear!! Basically, you get a huge box of vacuum sealed Indian food packages with freezer packs to your door. You don't need to be home when it's delivered---just put it all in your freezer before you go to bed that day. (The packages are relatively compact--you won't need to clear out your entire freezer like you would with freshly). My first meal with red kidney beans was great. I followed the directions to a T (1.5 minutes in the microwave for the entree and gravy and 1 minute for the rice) and it was steaming hot. It tasted exactly like Indian food I've had at restaurants and friends' houses. I would fully recommend it! As compared to other services, I found the portions incredibly affordable. I don't know how to make Indian food on my own, so I've traditionally ordered vegan Indian food for $3/a can. I've also ordered takeout for ~$10-15 per person. This comes out much closer to $7-8, especially if you are not an especially voracious eater. Cons: One of the disadvantages is that the directions included with the package can be a bit confusing if you are not super familiar with Indian dishes. I didn't know exactly what the "gravy" was from the "entree" I sent this in the feedback form that rotizen emailed me, so I hope this will be included in future boxes.

Honestly, if I hadn't known how long they had been sitting in the freezer, I never would have guessed. I called Chef Lucy to discuss catering a wedding with only two months notice. My experience with her has been excellent! She has been so helpful in making suggestions that have helped guide us toward accomplishing our vision, while helping to keep us within our budget. She has provided us with wonderful cost cutting suggestions which I greatly appreciate. Chef Lucy has responded very quickly to every email and text. It is a tremendous help in planning when someone responds to you quickly. She has gone out of her way and provided a great deal of her time to help us and to guide us. I personally know some of the people who call upon Chef Lucy for their catering needs. This is most impressive as I know these are people who require the highest level of food excellence and service and will settle for nothing less. Chef Lucy has been extremely professional yet friendly and warm at the same time. She has a very giving and caring spirit. I can tell by our conversations that she definitely knows her business! I am a small business owner myself. I fully understand the challenges that every small business owner faces in this ever-changing economy. It is not easy! I am looking forward to working with Chef Lucy. I believe she will provide a reception for the wedding that is going to be nothing less than spectacular! I will post another review after our event.
