We are in love with our wedding video! It captures the day perfectly and is so much fun to watch. Jared was the one who shot our wedding day and he was fantastic! He was so nice and fun to be around, and he was very professional. He really knew all the shots he needed and was great at giving direction and getting it all done easily! He worked so well with our photographer which made everything run smoothly. After our wedding my husband and I kept saying to each other how lucky we were to have had such amazing people capturing our day-- we knew before we even saw the video that hiring Everything Visual was the right choice and we were going to be so happy with the outcome! We booked EV for our wedding. I will say that they were easy to work with and the videographer that showed up on the day was a wonderful gentleman and very lovely to work with. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. We were 100% aware that the base package we purchased came with RAW footage and full a recording of our ceremony and reception. We weren't expecting edited footage whatsoever. However, we were not satisfied with what we received. Raw footage is raw footage. It's not supposed to be perfect, but even if we sent all the video snippets to an editor, I don't think the majority of the clips could be used to create a highlight video. Most of the clips are shaky and it just did not meet our expectations and the price we paid for the service. I did not understand how the clips came out that way they did with all the professional gear that was used. I debated posting this review, but I want to be honest for other people hoping for someone to capture what is going to be the best day of their lives. We want video to look back on our experience and have it represent that. Therefore, overall, we were disappointed with the service that we received. read more

It has been a year since working with EV, and they still continue to exceed my expectations! On my one year anniversary, I wanted to watch the raw footage of our wedding. I plugged in the USB but was having difficulty viewing the files. I emailed Nick and he was more than happy to say, "Mail me the USB and I will add your files back on for you". Like whaaatttt?! No "Sorry, you already received your photos. Nothing I can do" ? This was music to my ears. I was worried I wouldn't be able to see my files anymore, but Nick saved the day by assisting with this. I researched a lot of videographer in the Central Valley and didn't see one I really like that was reasonably priced until I stumbled upon Nick MacNiell's work. I think I found him on Wedding Wire. I knew he was the one after watching his videos. Nick's background I believe is in visual media so I knew right away he knows his stuff. What I like about Nick? 1. He's very quiet and blends in the background seamlessly. Extra points for his politeness. 2. He has drone capabilities, which I wished we requested. I think it makes the video extra special. 3. His wedding videos are not the long wedding videos that shows a bunch a nonsense. I'm not into writing letters to each other and saying them out loud for the cameras. Wedding day are stressful and I don't know how the bride and groom have time for this. Nick's videos are also more like a music video that you can watch over and over again. I have heard people who only watched their video once because it's more of a long documentary style. You tend to lose interest fast with those. 4. He was able to provide a same-day edit during the wedding reception and our guests were amazed! He placed his lap top on one of the tables and let our guests watch a small preview of his work of our very own wedding! Advice for the future bride and groom: 1. Your highlight video will be more of the wedding party not your guests. We requested a second video from Nick showing more of our guests at an extra cost. 2. He can customize your package. We upgraded to blu-rays. 3. Carve out some time with Nick away from the photographer so he can record just the two of you. read more

chose everything visually as my photographer/ videographer for my wedding. I got the $2,551 package. The video and photography were the most important things to me so I definitely vetted people. Nick McNeil seemed inviting and I loved what I saw. During my wedding he didn't give much direction so we didn't really have fun with them, we all felt a little out of place. The videographer was cool (that's why the 2 stars otherwise it would be one. Everything seemed cool and Nick seemed to be taking a lot of pics. Still at the reception he didn't get in there and take pics of us with our guests. When I recieved my photos I was horrified. I do take photos and have done weddings so I definitely know how Important quality is and I wanted someone I thought would be able to do that. I can count on one hand how many photos were crisp and focused. The others as you went slightly close up are fuzzy. That matters when you're trying to make larger prints. Even the close up photos were slightly fuzzy, that should not happen at all. Then the darker it got outside the more grainy all of my photos became he gave me photos of my dance that were so dark you couldn't see faces and he decided those were the best of the best to give me! I'd be embarrassed. He didn't use flash, at night! It was ridiculous. I literally cried as I looked at my photos. I would look elsewhere for that price. He said that I "benefited from "brand new equipment " at that price when his prices have now gone up." So basically I should be lucky and if I was upset obviously there was no benefit and that actually makes it all worse. Took 9 weeks to get my photos and without a sneak peek There's so much more but I'll stop there. read more
