" Over the years it has been difficult finding products that will provide me with the moisture my hair type requires and being "tender headed" only made matters worse. Having taken down my protective style, I put Renee Ramore hair care line to the test and I was blown away!! I cannot recall the last time my hair had "slip," leggit felt moisturized after shampooing alone. I literally washed my hair a 2nd time just because it felt so good. Shortly after shampooing I used both of the coconut infused conditioners and applied the leave-in. The products are lightweight yet effective . I genuinely felt loved, as though finally, someone thought of catering to women with hair types like mine. I'm accustomed to higher quality products being sold directly to salons yet within my own home, I felt fabulous. What a gift this is! I got mine from Jordans Beauty Supply located in South Shore. Ladies, you owe it to yourselves to check it out!! Thank you so much Tacara Renee!! #ReneeRamore #SelfCare #ILoveMyHair #JuicesNBerries

When I called to schedule the appointment, Saad, the owner said it was fine to walk-in any time before 8pm. The shop was easy to find and there is plenty of parking. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that I was immediately able to receive service. My normal stylist typically ends up overbooking himself and inevitably I end up waiting 30 minutes or so as he finishes the previous client. A basic wash, blow dry and style is $30 which is pretty good since I usually pay $45, plus costs to park since the shop is downtown. It was $10 extra for the deep conditioner and another $10 for the trim. Still pretty good in comparison to other shops. It's not a lavish/luxury spot, so don't expect a spa type setting...but it's comfortable and clean. Saad provided good advice regarding my hair care and worked at a reasonable pace (not too quickly like he was in a rush...not too slowly as if he wasn't respecting my time). I'd definitely recommend giving this salon a try.

However, when my friend and I arrived, the receptionist was unkind and unhelpful, treating us differently than other customers who received a warmer welcome. I had my nails done by Maria, who was lovely, but I noticed she seemed uneasy and kept mentioning time, which added to the tension. At the end of our visit, I asked the receptionist why the salon felt so rigid, suggesting that a more welcoming approach could help attract more loyal customers. Unfortunately, she became defensive and argumentative rather than engaging in a constructive conversation. While the stylists were great, the overall customer service, especially towards those who might be perceived as different, was disappointing.
