John really knows muscle anatomy and how they work to deliver therapeutic results! I can't recommend enough to anyone struggling with physical pain. Then, I found John after reading some of his positive reviews.. I have had 100's of massages around the world, I even managed a high end wellness center in Asia (so I got lots of massages from our employees) and I would say that John's has been the BEST I have ever experienced! he really understands the body and works on areas that I only dreamed of releasing as they were so tight..He is able to apply soft or strong pressure and good control. I decided to go to him once a week for four weeks to really heal the areas that needed it.. And, now I feel healthy and comfortable in my body again. I will go to John once a month for upkeep. I also took my Mom and she loved his massage as well.. He is professional, understands the body, and LOVES giving massage. If you haven't tried him out you must..

Adrian has a wonderful sense of touch and he is a great deep tissue specialist. I really appreciate deep tissue work, and not that many therapists can really deliver. I always feel safe because he is very gentle at heart and is very responsive if I ask for a little more pressure or a little less pressure. Since working with him, I have experienced a better sense of embodied self awareness, much better hip mobility, and improved general ease of movement. It is really helping with my self-care and recovery from the stresses of life. :)

I can't recommend these two highly enough! Krystina's work is very nurturing and energetically healing; David is much more technical, working with specific injury and pain. I don't know if this is true with everyone, or what their limitations are in general, but this is how it was for me. They are both excellent and they often offer package deals if you buy several massages up front! Plus they will work with your schedule. Awakenings is a really positive space, just a really sweet energy, so I really recommend the whole experience.

I get a massage once every couple months (but I really should go more often than that). I discovered my super awesome massage therapist Amy over two years ago! I can't believe there have been no reviews for her fabulous establishment...maybe a part of me wants to keep Amy all to myself? Haha, if you knew of her fabulous package prices for her services and how attentive Amy is to your needs, I bet you would feel the same way too :) PROS: As mentioned earlier, Amy doesn't just give you a massage, she asks questions about your daily life, your routine, and overall lifestyle to ensure she delivers a customized massage for you. When you go in for your massage, she will ask if you want 1) All over body massage 2) Focused sections or 3) All over but with focused sections. I always found option #3 to be the most helpful and beneficial to me. There is a parking lot so you don't have to worry about street parking before your relaxation time. It's in a plaza building, you go up the stairs and your second right. Amy regularly has these wonderful deals on massage packages, making 60 min massages as low as $38 per session. I usually buy the 60 min packages whenever she sends me those promo emails. CONS: I can't really think of any... POINTERS: I refer my friends and co-workers to her and they love her. If you tell Amy that Jenny Mau sent you, she will even give you $5 off her services!

Alexander is really good. It was difficult to arrange payment through insurance as he takes payment through an app but I was able to work it out with the attorneys handling the accident.
