My first visit to Everlastings, I'm happy to say, was an extremely positive experience. From the moment I walked in the door, greeted by Jen, I really felt like I made the right decision! Especially after talking to owner Arlene Bouley about the "organic" approach to hair care. I switched to organic skin care a few years ago, so why not make the change with my hair as well? Honestly, I didn't realize there was a salon like Everlastings specializing in organic. I started using their organic shampoo and conditioner about one month ago and love the silky feel of my hair. I also started using the Sunflower & Citrus hair spray, which is non-aerosol, and Arlene's special texturizing hair crème called "Bouley Souffle which is amazing! It controls my hair and eliminates" frizzies"... only wish I discovered it during the summer! Last but not least, I feel really good about using a hair color that is void of any chemical products that are harmful to my hair and scalp. This is the best beauty salon I've been too! They all treat you like family, and the environment is so relaxing. Amy is the girl at the front desk and she is very sweet and welcoming. I was so overdue for a hair change; Toni colored my hair beautifully and Arlene cut it with a razor which was the most impressive hair cutting technique I've seen. They both are very talented and did a fantastic job! Now my hair is gorgeous, completely transformed and feels healthier. The best part is that all of their products are organic and natural. I was nervous going to an organic salon because every where I've been to has been fake. not everlastings. i walked in and the staff was lovely and offered me a beverage right off the bat. i had the most amazing correctional color done.i have spent so much money in other salons to get the same old thing. Everlastings gave me my own beautiful color ,cut and style. This was every dollar well spent on myself and I deserve it. And I give this organic salon 10 stars and up. I have my hair cut and colored at Everlastings because the products are organic and the staff and ambiance is unequalled. I'd tried many salons over the years, both locally and as far as Danbury, and none of those experiences compare with this. I've been to pervious salons in the area that have damaged my hair for 2-300 dollars. When I found everlastings I was truly amazed and shocked that there was a salon out there like this. The staff was wonderful tending to my every need. I've gone back a few times now and they are very consistent. I was looking for a change and got that in my visit. Everlastings is a wonderful and unique salon. I was so fortunate to have had found a salon that offers Organic color. Unlike the conventional color which makes my hair look dry and dull the organic color makes my hair look natural and healthy (it even lasts as long as conventional color). I found Arlene at Everlastings Organic Salon and I'm so happy I did. I developed a sensitivity to all hair dyes. I really didn't want to go gray so I heard about Everlastings.
