I came 30 minutes early for the appointment and provided information on my healthy pet. They still wanted further documentation so they called my private vet and information was faxed as well. After being put in a room about 20 minutes no one came in at all so I inquired why. I was informed their vet was in surgery and the tech is not authorized to give bordetella vaccines. What???? People give their dogs vaccines all the time. I took my business elsewhere. I highly recommend the walk in Pet vaccination clinic in Omaha. It took 10 minutes.

I'm extremely disappointed with the care my dog received here. I dropped her off before 8 AM for an…read moreappointment regarding anxiety medication and didn't pick her up until 6 PM. When I finally got her back, she immediately peed for a very long time and then drank water nonstop -- clear signs she hadn't been let out or given water all day. When I called to ask about it, the staff told me they "don't take dogs out" because the parking lot is too dangerous, and they "don't always leave water" because dogs could get wet. That explanation is absolutely unacceptable for a veterinary clinic. Providing water and bathroom breaks are the most basic standards of care, and if they can't safely do that, they shouldn't be taking in pets for all-day stays. To make things worse, they also almost forgot the main reason for my dog's appointment -- to discuss her anxiety medication. After nearly ten hours there, I had to remind them why she was even being seen. This experience completely broke my trust. I will not be returning and plan to file a formal complaint with management. Warning to other pet owners: If you leave your dog here for any extended period of time, know that they will not take them out or ensure they have water. Please think twice before leaving your pet in their care.

**LIFE-SAVING MIRACLE** This is our family dog named Buster…read morewe have had the past 4 years. He has provided nothing but love, energy, and hope for our beloved family. We recently moved to a new house and found out there was a gap in the fence, in which he escaped on 10/8/19. We searched for countless hours in desperation and heartbreak. We posted all over the "Lost Pets of Bellevue" Facebook page, made trips to the Nebraska Humane Society, received calls from the local police department of his last known location of travel, stayed glued to our phones waiting for a phone call. On 10/9/19 we received a phone call from a young man who spotted Buster huddled in the corner by his house before mowing. We immediately rushed over to find him laying in the corner, his eye bulging out, scared, and barely stable. A painful image that we can never erase from memory. It was very clear that some sort of animal (most likely a larger dog) attacked him. Buster was fortunately able to hold out through the night as the temps fell cold. When we picked up his helpless body, I immediately suggested Bellevue Animal Hospital as it was the closest and we had previously taken our animals there. Also, we knew that Dr. Maltry was there and was an eye specialist. As we walked through the door, nearly everyone in the room dropped what they were doing and escorted us into a room. Within less than 3-5 minutes, we had at least 5-6 people in the room assisting. We soon came to a realization that Buster would need to undergo an emergency eye removal surgery and later on, a jaw surgery as it was fractured badly in many places. Dr. Maltry instantly realized of how serious these issues were and needed to act fast. She decided to clear the entire rest of her day to devote to us which resulted in her staying at the office past 8pm to watch over Buster! Since the surgeries, Buster has transformed into his normal, playful, happy self with the never ending love and support transferred from the skilled team over at Bellevue Animal Hospital and Dr. Maltry. We will always be eternally grateful for your actions that saved Buster's life, and our family! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

My boy had a fractured tooth and normally I would take him to a vet that deals with only cats but their calendar was pretty full so I chose Bellevue animal Hospital. I'm so glad I did. I was worried about barking dogs, but they had me call when I got there and let me wait in my car until a room was open. Everyone there is super nice. I loved our veterinarian. She took all the time we needed for a whole list of questions that I had. She took a lot of worry about what I have been stressed over for a week. Looks like we found a new vet when we cannot use a mobile one!
