He was soliciting work Because we had two very large dead oak trees in our front yard. At first, Josh appeared, professional and knowledgeable, and he assured us that he could have a crew and equipment on site immediately. Against our better judgment, and because he insisted this was the only acceptable form of payment for a job. This size we paid him $14,500 in cash. Within within an hour, the crew arrived and began cutting. Not even 30 minutes into the job a large branch was dropped, crushing our shed and damaging our well system. Immediately after causing the damage, the crew packed up and left the property without explanation and never returned. We attempted to contact Josh multiple times, but he refuses to answer or take responsibility. We filed a report with the sheriffs office, but were told it is considered a civil matter.
