Over covid she expanded to telehealth visits which have been great for small concerns although I still generally go to the office. There is an in-house lab making routine stuff really easy. This is the kind of family care I want. She knows me and my family, makes recommendations and sees trends from regular care vs transactional appointments in walk in clinics. And when I want a referral, and I prefer a female provider, she always has someone to suggest that is a quality provider. Cheryl, her ARNP has relocated for family, and I haven't met the new provider but expect her to carry the same values and care to her clients. I'm treated as a person here, with a face and history. it's appreciated.

Wow, I just read the other two reviews of Dr. Girolami, and I'm wondering: are we talking about the…read moresame doctor? I've been seeing Dr. G. for 15 years now, and she's always been super-responsive to me, as has the P.A. who works with her, Cheryl Allen. In fact, although I wouldn't call myself a hypochondriac, I AM super-proactive about health issues, due to some crappy genes in the ol' gene pool. So I call the office and visit whenever a pesky issue arises (for fear it's NOT really just a "pesky" issue). Dr. G. and Cheryl have always been very accessible to me (and my husband, who is also a patient). They've always returned my calls, taken the time to answer my questions, and taken my concerns seriously. I don't know the receptionist well, but she's always been pleasant to me. The nurse I've seen there has always been SUPER nice to me. Are we speaking of the same practice??? Yes, I know Dr. G. is into providing cosmetic procedures (something I will never be into, personally), but she's never even mentioned that stuff to me. She is very into sports, fitness and nutrition, and weight loss, and she's very knowlegeable about these issues (which DO interest me). Years ago, she's referred me to the most awesome OB/GYN, and other specialists, all of whom were terrific. I'll always be grateful for these references. She has been wonderful for me and my family, over the years.

Be careful of this clinic. They will not post blood work and…read moreask you to collect it yourself. Once you go to the office to collect the blood results, you are charged a consultation fee of couple of hundred dollars.

This is a tough review for me to write because the office has changed a lot. I offer advice to…read morehelp others who go here for care. I am not sure how long I will continue to go here as a patient. 1. If you need a referral you will only get one per doctor appointment / visit. That seems fair but if the referral doesn't respond or isn't taking new patients you won't get a second so you have paid a lot of money and taken your time for a doctor visit. (I think there should be another if you have proof that the referral didn't work.) Also, sometimes they forget to send the referral. 2. If you go in for a visit and they do the lab work but they can't give you the shot on the spot (they have to run labs first) they will want you to pay for a second visit so make sure that you have it in writing that it was for the same visit so that you can come back and get a shot without seeing a doctor again. 3. They do annuals but make you sign paperwork saying that you won't ask them anything during the annual exam....I'm very confused on this process. I think the intent is not to go in with multiple serious issues and expect them to have time in one visit (even if it's the annual). Get clarity from the staff when booking and proof on what you want to ask so that there is no question that you can ask the questions during your annual exam. 4. They are not good at calling and responding to follow up on lab results, etc. so be prepared to call them and have them send you the results or use the quest website, etc. 5. Make sure that you know how long your visit length is when booking and what type of visit so that when you get there and they have changed it and time allotted you know how to advocate for what you signed up for. 6. Note, they do NOT take medicare patients unless you want to pay them in cash. I think Doctor's offices have become a place where you have to be very specific and get stuff in writing and be very clear about what they are offering and what you will be charged. It might help to take another person with you as a witness for your care issues. I have had good continued care here at this office except for one really bad care situation so they are knowledgeable.

Dr. Marshall at Eylan Health is a rare gem of a physician. I'm so glad I decided to start seeing…read moreher for my rather complicated web of health issues. She's extremely thorough, smart, warm and personable. And while her practice uses the best of technology, the way she practices medicine is reminiscent of a time when there were no HMOs, insurance companies or 15-minute appointment allotments. Yep, Dr. Marshall will actually spend A LOT of time getting to know and treating you, even though that runs counter to maximizing profits! I also appreciate that Dr. Marshall practices holistic medicine; I see it as getting the best of both worlds. She's very knowledgeable about nutrition, acupuncture, naturopathy, physical medicine, and of course, Western medicine. The Eylan Health office is clean, relaxing, organized, and I haven't had any trouble getting appointments. I like using the Eylan Health E-Portal to schedule appointments, upload docs, get lab orders and communicate with Dr. Marshall (I haven't gotten on board with the MyChart system at our other doctors quite yet). Oooh, and the office is right down the street from Mayuri Indian Cuisine, a fantastic choice if you're in the mood for Indian food. But here's my #1 reason for being a Dr. Marshall/Eylan Health fan: I'm actually feeling BETTER after a month of simple changes and Dr. Marshall's treatments! I've been seeing health practitioners and trying every reasonable treatment under the sun [well, that I can actually afford] to deal with my musculoskeletal issues for nearly a decade now. Yet in the past 6 weeks since seeing Dr. Marshall, I've become convinced that my body is actually starting to heal (or at least it's not reacting so poorly to every little stress). Honestly, I didn't expect these kind of results at all, so color me shocked and delighted! I have definitely spent the past year especially working HARD on my health, so I like to think those efforts prepared my body to be receptive to Dr. Marshall's treatments. The treatments I've had have been so gentle that I couldn't imagine how they could benefit me, by the way - there's no spine cracking or painful injections involved! Your mileage may vary, but my best advice is to give Dr. Marshall and whatever she prescribes for you a try because she's an excellent doctor who will truly give your WHOLE health the time, energy, care and attention it deserves. Take this review to heart; Dr. Andrea Marshall at Eylan Health is a unique gem. Just don't take my preferred appointment time (I make a trafficky trek to see Dr. Marshall)! ;-)

I booked…read moremy appointment approximately 2-3 months ago, as the wait-list was quite long, but was happy to wait. About a week ago, I was called and asked if I wanted to move up my appointment and see a new nurse practitioner they added to their office, and I could be seen approximately 1 week sooner. I declined, given I'd already waited that long and was fine to go another week. Now, a couple days before my appointment, I was notified through a mychart message that Dr. Mohammed unexpectedly would be out of the office, and I'd need to call to reschedule or reschedule through mychart. I called them, and spoke with scheduling, which informed me that the only time I could re-book for was in May or June. It currently being Febuary, that was pretty shocking. I asked why I would be put to the back of a list, if I had already waited this long, and it was the Dr who had to cancel my appointment. I was told there's nothing they can do, so I asked to speak to a manager. Sandy, the manager, got on the phone, and was extremely abrupt, condescending, and repeated multiple times "that's just where we're at". May or June. No reasoning, no explanation of their policy, no looking into their schedule to see if they could accommodate. Just blanket denial, with a rude attitude. That's just where we're at, I guess.

I received a spray of liquid nitrogen for wart removal, a process that took a few minutes. The bill was ~350. (Yes, my insurance covered most of it, but I was still left with an extra $60 to pay, in addition to the copay.) This is a scam. Liquid nitrogen costs very little, as can be verified by a quick internet search. An honest doctor/practice should not charge anything and just include it as part of the copay. When I lived in Boston, I got an entire MRI scan for something close to that amount. (To back this up, you can look up the Yelp reviews of a place called "Longwood MRI" in the Boston area, where a review from 2022 is complaining about having to pay "almost $500" out of pocket. Imagine that! $500 for an entire MRI scan, but 5 seconds of liquid nitrogen spray costs $350.) This was Dr. Granath charging me this, btw. 2.) For some reason, I ended up having a strange complication after the wart treatment. Several days later my ankle, foot, and even my calf started to swell up. I called in, and the nurse on the phone (after consulting someone) literally told me that this is normal, part of the process of the blister healing, and that I shouldn't worry. This was anything but normal! Turned out that I had developed a blood clot in my leg. Those are dangerous, and the fact that the medical advice they gave me was to simply ignore it is extremely concerning. The textbook definition of medical malpractice is that it results in harm, and I avoided further harm in this case by getting medical attention elsewhere, but it's still very shameful that they gave me such wrong advice on something that in hindsight seems so common-sense that it shouldn't even require much expertise to get right.

I would not recommend using this facility for your infectious disease or your general practitioner…read moreneeds. Once my doctor retired they wanted to send me to three or four doctors to get the same meds I have been taking since 2007. To make it worse, I tried to get an appointment with an Overlake general practitioner for four months and have been waiting. Not to mention the other doctors they want to book me with for existing and long term meds with no intervening issues. I am convinced that this clinic is operated in a rigid and very non-holistic way, asking you to see a different doctor on different days IF you can get an appointment without waiting months, in order to bill as much different services as possible. I have literally been out of prescribed medication for two months and they refuse to refill even though I have been available to see the new doctor the entire time. The bureaucracy here is like nothing I have dealt with and l've used some of the best practitioners in the country, including in Los Angeles where everything was managed in a seamless holistic way with one provider who was there to deal with the ongoing and normal needs of the patient unless a bee issue arise and you need referral. Overlake is a big business with big bills and a big bureaucracy that will try to send you to four doctors for four medications (if you can get an appointment) even though you're medical history has not changed and your condition is perfectly stable. When I advised them I as having bad side effects from abruptly stopping a medication due to doctor retirement the reply was sorry you have to see try new doctor even though I can't get an appointment for months. Imagine seeking an appointment in February and being told we can see you in May. Stay away. Don't forget these are the corporate vultures who were in a scandal during Covid when they provided scarce Covid vaccines to their rich Bellevue donors. That's how they operate.
