Bumper boats closed for servicing, probably for awhile since the water was gross. We couldn't play laser tag since most of the guns didn't work, and area to play it in was small. We liked the go carts and the mini golf was OK. There were things for the Pre-K crowd to do. They did have a game up to 4 could play where whoever turns a crank fastest dumps water on their opponent. It was fun and free. We last visited this place about 7 years ago. It sadly has not aged well. read more

This could be a good family fun place if it was maintained and cleaned. The entire place is in dire need of a good cleaning and some safety maintenance. The water in the bumper boat pool was slimy and green. Absolutely disgusting. The attendant said it hadn't been cleaned yet this year. Nobody was using it but yet it was included in the sales pitch and ads. There were broken balloons all over the grounds and parking area from the balloon game (which we couldn't use because nobody was there to manage it the entire time we were there). The balloon pieces are a danger to birds and other animals. The miniature golf course needs to be fixed and maybe some fun things added. It is basically cement covered with green turf and a hole for the ball. There are slopes and rocks, but nothing else. The turf had many rips and holes. The laser maze was a 1 minute joke and my children chose the most challenging. What a disappointment. The only things they enjoyed and was worth doing were the go carts and the climbing wall. The wooden maze is wooden splinters on hands and legs waiting to happen. read more

Been going to Evergreen (formerly World of Christmas) for years. A great place for kids and also adults. Plenty to do. A little pricey but not bad for a theme park. A must visit if you have kids and are visiting Itasca. It's on the way to Itasca State Park. read more

This is a wonderful place to take your kids. Especially if they have energy to burn off. Lots of activities to do. It's even fun for an adult like myself who has no children. I had a great time playing miniature golf! Located in the Minnesota woods away from a large populated area made it special. Also I liked the gift store. I bought plenty of fudge and nuts before I left. read more

Staff does not wear masks! Simple safety measures are not taken by all at Evergreen. When getting into go karts, when being strapped in for jumping on trampolines, when being shown bumper boat operations, staff got directly in our family's faces with no masks on. We were approached from behind by an unmasked staff member who was tightening seatbelts on the go karts so we couldn't even prepare by putting on our own mask in time. The kids wore masks when being fitted with straps for jumping, but staff didn't wear a mask. Also, Evergreen has an outdoor ticket counter that we used last year when there was no pandemic- both outdoor ticket counters were closed so the entire family had to go inside to get wrist bands. If there wasn't another option, fine- but for whatever reason, they closed the safer outdoor ticket options. If you or your family have health conditions and appreciate pandemic safety measures, I would avoid visiting Evergreen. read more

Kids had a fun time WHEN there was a staff member at the activity that they wanted to do. Wrist bands for the kids are the way to go at $18 each for a hour and a half considering the average wait time to do something was at least 10 minutes. NOT worth the adult wrist bands!!! I purchased one to go on bumper boats and go carts and a few other things and there were only TWO of the 6 bumper boats working so I couldn't go with them anyways. Go carts was fun for all but quite a wait, they were able to go on Junior carts when the young man got off of his phone texting to come over and help the kids all waiting in line screaming to let them on because they were running out of time left on their bands! Over all if you want to enjoy a morning, I would recommend for kids... But be prepared to $$. read more

The FDR bunker escape room surpassed expectations. We had never tried an escape room before and didn't know what to expect, but the puzzles were challenging and the hour went incredibly fast. Our guide, Tom, was fun, friendly, and made the experience really enjoyable. We're definitely returning next year to try another room. read more

While the park as a whole was a ton of fun, the FDR bunker escape room was over the top! Honestly, I was expecting it to be only mediocre, being in small town Minnesota, but I could not have been more wrong! Our family (which included eight, usually very intelligent, adults) just managed to squeak through in the allotted time. The clues were challenging but so much fun! It was worth every penny we spent. We experienced every emotion you could imagine - happy, frustrated, excited, puzzled, stressed, and overjoyed when we finally unlocked the last clue. It truly was the highlight of our vacation. I only hope that next time, and there will be a next time, we get out even faster!! read more
