Golf course was in great condition and the course provided a unique challenge. My one complaint is the price. We got to play a little later in the day so with the twilight rate but still was 25 bucks to walk 9. We plan to go again in the morning and then it'll be 35 bucks to walk 9. We are both juniors and usually get a discount but there is none here. Otherwise loved this course.

Just don't be a brat and be sure to bring your carts back before 7:30 pm. Middle of September with the perfect weather and you're all set for a nice day of hitting golf balls. New to golf or old, you'll find it very easy to play here. They're open from early spring to mid-October (late fall and depending on the weather!). This golf course is in Walker, MN, where people in general boast the Minnesota nice culture. The holes are easy to find , if you ask me . The grounds are well-kept, very lush greens, lovely trees and such a great dose of Nature Rx! They have resident bald eagles who aren't shy to show off mid tee. The club house staff is fairly new and no more Ms. Crabby, whew! Find Kim, Lori or Mike getting you set up and ready for your make-believe Masters tourney. Pricing is, for a Californian like me, a party like it's 1989! The phone here is always ringing so make sure you call in to make a reservation. They also have a very sweet club membership program. Their bathrooms (can't leave this out) are nice, clean and all-gender. There are plenty of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. My company recently held an event here to benefit The Pancreatic Cancer Society and the turnout (even volunteers!) was amazing. The crew's energy at this golf course is unwavering! Almost impossible to really even putt after hitting the "temp green", so I simply picked up and marked a par. I have played 15 rounds of golf in Minnesota over the past 25 days, and was pleased to walk on to this course and pay a fairly low rate after playing a number of local "resort" courses for three times the cost. The course is in just beautiful shape with well cut grass, a challenging first cut of rough, and a very difficult sawgrass kind of rough in the secondary areas. Other than the expected leaves, the greens were magnificent and very challenging. I really enjoyed this course and will be back to play again.

Very clean, king bed, updated bathroom, back porch, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. We walked to explore around the different areas of Maddens, and the grounds are beautiful! There are tons of activities including a pool, fitness center, tennis courts, croquet, paddle boarding, ice cream shop, gift shop, golf courses etc. The staff working at all of these locations were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We golfed The Classic, which was awesome as well. Maddens also offers a few different restaurants which have great food. I came here on a work trip so I can't speak to the price/cost of the stay, but I do think this place has a ton to offer for a wide range of ages.
