My two sons and my husband did this course and it was amazing! It is a beautiful setting. We had about as beautiful day as it could have been and Travis, the owner/coordinator, bent over backwards to fit us into his busy schedule. The basic course was a bit shorter than I expected, as someone else mentioned, but as a beginner course, it was probably about perfect. My 10 year-old got very scared and pitched a fit up on the platform. The staff was so patient with him and with us as we tried to convince him to go. Jordan, the staff member who was helping us, went up and walked ahead of him so that my husband could walk behind him and my son was so proud when he conquered his fear and completed the course! This place is amazing. From the course to the staff, everything we experienced was great. It is perfect for our family of 5. {two 11 yr olds and one 5 yr old} Our 5 year old had a harder time and didn't go as high as he could have for a couple of challenges, but he was still a brave little guy and did them! My boyfriend and I had a great time here! We took a weekend trip up to Itasca State Park and it was an exciting end to our trip. The course was close to the state park (20 minutes) and very easy to find. I called earlier in the week to make a reservation and Travis was very accommodating and able to work with our schedule. We brought 4 kids ages 7-12. Perfect confidence booster for this age group. The ropes were higher than expected for the 7 year old for sure - but he got through it. Great staff, don't overdo it on directions or safety speeches which is nice. read more
