You pay a nominal fee of approximately $7.50 per month and whenever you decide to start tanning again, they will keep your monthly rate the same even if they have raised their membership fees. I came back and started tanning again on Feb 1st (2023). I let them know on that date that in speaking with my bank, I had some fraud on my account. I explained this to the front desk and gave them my updated bank card. I then noticed on Sunday, March 5th, that my debit for March hadn't been taken yet. I went by this evening (6th) to inquire about my March payment, wondering if they had just gotten a little behind. The latest they have ever taken it was the 4th. I was then informed that my debit for March had not gone through and my monthly membership is $117.85 but now they have added an additional $10.00 fee. I asked where did they "attempt" to debit me and she gave me the last 4 digits of my old card - the one that I canceled on 2/1 and I already gave Palm Beach my updated card - which I just explained to her. She then stated "I don't know why this keeps happening". So I asked her if this has happened with others and she looked up at me and said "no". But it was inferred that this has happened with others. In any case, now it's 7:59 pm and I asked may I please tan since they are closing in 30 minutes and that I will straighten this out first thing in the morning. She said "no, you are not allowed to tan when you have a balance and you now have a late fee". So, this is pretty much the straw that broke the camels back, for me anyway. I tan because it helps with my depression and it just makes me happy. But there have been no happy dances from me of late. I just wanted to stop in, tan in a 12 minute bed, relax and shut out the world. Instead, my anxiety went thru the roof and I was kind of made to feel like I'm a criminal or something. No management was on duty to assist with this. Not good...............

They checked me in right away. The rooms were perfectly lit - not too bright yet not too dim. The music was soft and at the perfect level. My massage therapist gave me different options as far as the type of massage. I stated as long as it's not a deep tissue massage. I had that once & for three days - I was in so much pain that it felt like I'd been in a car accident. So, knowing that he chose a shiatsu massage. I stated I tend to carry my stress between my shoulders and neck. Plus I'm so ticklish everywhere else! Having told him this, he began my amazing massage. It was the best gift that I could possibly received. When my massage was over - I secretly wanted to move in! I plan to give my best friend a massage there as well. She did not wash my face afterwards. She left all the dead skin and hair in my face. I'm sorry for her problems, but I am a paying client that deserves what I paid to receive. So, I called Reveal Spa to see if they had any availability. They did that afternoon and I headed to Edgewater a few hours later. I only got a little lost, but when I called the salon to see where they were located, I realized that I had driven past it three times! Not an issue as this is common place for me when I'm going somewhere I have never been before. The lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful when the explaining how to see the storefront. Tip: It's on the north side after you turn west on 25th, it's like the second or third business. I went in and was greeted by the lady I spoke to on the phone, whom I found out is named Ashley. It was a bit on the small side, but I've always thought less it more sometimes when it comes to salons and I liked the look of the place. Ashley seemed to be the only one working, but since I was also the only customer at the time, I quite enjoyed the feeling of privacy. Ashley led me into the back waxing room and asked me what I was looking for when it came to my eyebrows. I told her that I wasn't too picky, I just needed them shaped. She agreed that they weren't completely out of control and she would do her best to make them look nice. Ashley took a little longer then most estheticians do and that made me nervous, especially considering she just agreed I didn't need much waxing. Boy, was I in for a surprise when I saw the greatest eyebrows I've ever had. All my anxiety flew out the window when I looked into the handheld mirror and saw perfection in an eyebrow. I'm so glad that she took the extra time because this was the one and only instance where I didn't have to go home right away and correct any strays the esthetician left. I was so elated! Of course, the underarm waxing went very smooth as well and I was very happy with the results. It was practically painless and I left with a feeling of complete bliss in knowing that the work was done right and I wouldn't have to worry that night about any mistakes I may not have noticed right away. Ashley was also very sweet and we ended up having a great conversation while I was there. It didn't feel forced or overdone, just the right amount of talk to get through the appointment smoothly. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed since then and still haven't had the amazing eyebrows that I left with that afternoon.
