When I arrived at the front office and informed the staff member (a blonde-haired woman whom I…read morebelieve is Mrs. Dominguez) that I needed to withdraw my son, I was told to come back from 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The next day , I asked for clarification to why , than was told "that's the registration rules withdrawals are limited to that time frame ", The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily curt. I then asked if there was anything specific I would need to bring when returning the next day during the designated hours. She quickly told me a short list of required items, and I left the office. Once in my car, I realized we had an absence note that had not yet been submitted. I had already inputed the absences through the parent portal weeks ago but than learned they were not accepted electronically, so I wrote a note. I sent my son back inside to submit the physical note, but he returned saying it would not be accepted.i asked him why he said idk she just said "no I can't take it." I then went back in personally to hand in the note and was told it could not be accepted because my son was absent that day. I explained that he was in the process of being withdrawn and therefore would not be present that day or the following day bc he's being withdrawn , what sense does that make he's not coming to this school anymore?? She was again rude as fuck, bad attitude and I asked her for her name. That's when she ran in the back office. At that point, I seen a dean i spoke with before and I explained the situation. He than clarified that the system would not allow the note to be entered while my son was marked absent, but once the withdrawal was completed, the absence documentation could be processed. I appreciated his calm explanation and assistance.i said ok thank you soo much .. (My concern was ensuring that his absences were properly documented so he would not be marked truant. ) However, during this interaction, with the dean lil blonde girl aka ms. Dominguez came from behind the bullet proof offices and ran passed me out front to get the local school law enforcement . I want to be clear that I was not refusing to leave or causing a disturbance, or behaving aggressively. I was simply attempting to resolve a documentation issue to prevent potential truancy complications and write up a complaint..she called the police bc you didn't want to give me your name, or because you couldn't clarify a simple question with an educated answer.. idk. My primary concern is not the policy itself but the manner in which the situation was handled. The communication was dismissive, unhelpful, and escalated unnecessarily. Calling law enforcement during a routine administrative discussion felt excessive , like that shit cute, I play chess not checkers, I don't know was she scared , being behind bulletproof glass , lmao . reactions are caused by actions, your extremely rude I wanted your info to report you to your superiors a simple write up thats what adults do when being treated poorly !! instead of behaving like children arguing, fussing . I don't argue n fuss sweetheart I handle business. and you chose to run to get the police. While I was in my same flow talking to the dean. Thats soo cute. There's no flipping the script you're not a victim, they can easily run the cameras back dumb dumb that's all the office has to do. SMH. Front office staff represent the school and are often the first point of contact for families. Professionalism, clear communication, and respectful interaction are essential -- especially in an environment serving children and families. Additionally, when I asked for the rude staff member her name, I was told No, clearly she would not provided it. As a public school employee working directly with families, this information should not be withheld. Her dumb ass is in the school directory ms. Dominguez !! Obviously she's too comfortable treating our kids like this and when talking to an adult, she thought it was OK, this is not how adults carry themselves let alone a school front office staff member sweetheart you need to grow up, your setting a horrible example. If a child is unsure of something we teach them to ask , so they understand. This is a huge part of learning not being scared to challenge an answer (not aggressively) but to have a better understanding of things.. this is how humans create and learn.. n your front desk can't do basic clerical communication, I'm scared to even ask about the teachers interacting with the students behind close doors at this point. the principal sees the staff first hand everyday he has to hear about this from parents , kids etc. Sometimes as parents and kids we allow this type of behavior by being passive and giving people the benefit of the doubt. But sometimes we need to speak up so there supervisors know what's going on.. this principal is too nice to have bs people like this representing his school..

MOR is the small school with a big heart. Based on Catholic principles, it teaches the children…read moreabout the Catholic faith while also providing excellent scholastics. My child has been attending this school for several years and I see how she grows every year both academically and spiritually. The classrooms are small - about 15 to 1 ratio. And the teachers are loving and caring with the children. But they also challenge them to learn and provide the perfect atmosphere for children to blossom. The principal, Mrs. Cassariego, is a very good leader and very involved in the schools day-to-day activities. I am proud to have my daughter at this school. Go Cudas!

You think the kids…read moreare extremely smart and doing well until you ask them to explain how to solve the homework they bring home. When doing homework, they are lost on how to do the work. When asked, they say the teacher just gives them the answer without explaining how to do it. Many parents have noticed the same thing in all grade levels not one specific grade or teacher. It is clear the students are struggling, and there is a real problem. Parents have spoken among themselves and agree this is a repeated issue. I do not believe the problem is that it's a religious school, the real issue is that the teachers do not know how to teach and choose not to or are not qualified. All of the students are behind academically, and it's hard to realize at first, because on paper their grades look perfect but in reality, they are struggling and its just a made up grade. I would put 0 stars if I could. I am happy to say I have saved my child from the school by removing them but now comes the real work to make up for all the time of learning lost here.
