I received a sleep study with this organization last year in August and September 2024. For the most part my insurance covered what I expected, but this 1 star review is for the lack of care I received after the study. My health information on the POLYSOMNOGRAPHY REPORT says "The patient's comprehensive subjective sleep disorders questionnaire was not completed due to a language barrier," this is insane to me as I speak perfect English. I had an appointment with the person who replies to the Yelp messages, Dr. Henry Qiu. The appointment went fine, but I was then referred to Cassandra to schedule a follow up to see what my options were. This last communication happened in September 2024. Today at 5:39 AM, I receive an extremely vague email saying my health information is available if I click a link. I try multiple times to log in with my gmail, to success might I add, but every time I log in it redirects me back to gmail to click the link and start the process over again. I cannot access, nor do I even know what is supposed to be found with this link. I email Cassandra and she tells me to log into gmail which I have already done and there is no further help. I called and left a voicemail and well as a text expressing my frustrations, but am waiting to hear back any resolution. I'm publicly posting this here as I think it's rather unacceptable to be reached out to a year after receiving services and in such a vague scammy way. This company needs to do better at keeping their communication with their patients in check, I was supposed to have a follow up last year, and when I didn't ever hear back, I knew I would not want to continue working with this company. This email put a further bad taste in my mouth, I should not be directed to Canva to click another link that leads to me having to login to Gmail multiple times to no end. I expect a follow up either here, over the phone, or email. This place is an absolute scam and does not follow HIPAA. After weeks of waiting to hear back from them to do insurance verification I finally got a call back that they were finally referring me to their shipping department to get my sleep study equipment. A week later I get a phone call from a random unknown 925 area code number asking me for my credit card info to pay for shipping charges? At first I thought it was a scam so I called their local 562 number and confirmed that they apparently subcontract out the sleep study to a place called iSleep Physicians (but likely bill Medicare as if they are doing the sleep study themselves), pretty sure that's fraud. I spoke to Cassandra regarding their HIPAA violation of sending my information to an unknown third party and she had the audacity to falsely claim both Everest Sleep Center and iSleep Physicians were owned and operated by the same entity. A simple search of the NPI database shows Everest Sleep Center is owned and operated by Dr. Henry Qiu DDS while iSleep Physicians is owned and operated by Dr. Haramandeep Singh, neither entity has any crossover employees and are in fact two separately operating businesses in similar fields. Ended up receiving a call and text from the COO of iSleep Physicians Fatima Denney who also confirmed that they are in fact two separate entities operating independently in similar fields. If you like your personal information leaked to third parties, by all means Everest Sleep Center is the place to go! Attached LinkedIn Account Executive position for Everest should tell you everything you need to know about their business model. They're not about patient care, they're about their sell through and conversion rates on quantities of sleep studies and oral devices they can sell and bill you and your insurance for. read more

This place is a scam, You pay $395 upfront for a sleep study (then they don't want to send you your results) and bill your insurance or out of pocket of 5k+ an absurd amount. My insurance was billed and we haven't started anything. This is a dental office looking to attract more patients by pushing unnecessary mouth guard treatments causing unnecessary weekly visits. The reviews are all 5 star because they bribe you to submit a review in front of them and they enter your name into a raffle. They push their treatment or nothing else, they stop being accountable once you decline services. read more

When I first found out that I had sleep apnea, I didn't really believe it. I wasn't overweight, didn't drink, didn't smoke, and exercised regularly, and felt that my sleep was fine, and I especially didn't want to use a CPAP machine. After being diagnosed and talking with Dr. Qiu, I started using a sleep guard at night, and though I didn't initially notice a difference, there was a period of time when I stopped using it and found out that I was more lethargic and had less energy in the mornings. Whenever I have questions, Dr. Qiu responds to them in an informative and timely manner, and I found that now, I have a better sleep schedule and wake up naturally and more refreshed. It's been a pleasant experience for me, from the teeth scanning, bite check, and initial usage of the sleep guard to now, and I'm grateful for him since I feel much more well rested and know that I'm able to get the questions I have answered quickly with issues or concerns. This place is a joke! Had an appointment 3 weeks prior. When we arrived 45 minutes prior to our appointment, we were told that the equipment wasn't in office, but would arrive 3 hours later and that if we could come back! Mind you, they called us that morning to confirm our appointment. We live over an hour away. We then made another appointment for the following day, and I have been calling for the last 2 hours to confirm our equipment is there before driving for another hour, and no one picks up, but got a text asking if we are coming in?!?! read more

They are scammers. I would suggest you stay far away from this people. They will try to talk you into medical procedures that have no scientific bases for real results, then hold they will refuse to give you, your records after charging you money for equipment usage. I was referred to this clinic when I found out that I may have sleep apnea. Staff is super friendly and supportive. They made me feel very welcomed and comfortable before I saw the doctor. The wait time was very minimum and the lobby was very comfortable. First meeting: Dr. Qiu consulted with me on what sleep apnea is, and what kind of devices are used to help resolve that issue. After our conversation, we ordered the sleep study device. The sleep device arrived very quickly and was very easy to use. It stayed on during my sleep and logged a lot of information on my sleep patterns. Second meeting (2/7/2023): Dr. Qiu went over the results and informed that I have moderate sleep apnea. Unfortunately that means I stop breathing at least 114 times and my heart rate goes up to 115 bpm which is a light jog. I also found out that my nasal cavity may be impacting my sleep quality as well but that's a conversation for another vendor. After analyzing my sleep data, we did the molding for the mouth guard that will be used to help my sleep apnea. The process was very easy and noninvasive. Dr. Qiu was gentle and checked in with me during the whole process. He also provided check up on my wisdom teeth and the state of my teeth since he is also a dentist! Great care and service. Third meeting (3/2/2023): I came back to the office to pick up my mouth guard. The process took some time since they needed to make sure that the guard fit perfectly with enough adjustments to help support my health condition. Dr. Qiu and his assistant gave a lot of suggestions and advice on how to take care of the device and what to expect from using the device as well. I felt very supported and confident in using the device after I left the office. Fourth meeting (5/3/2023): We did a brief conversation on how its going with my experience. My sleep quality has improved significantly in the last couple months. I have not experienced brain fog nor had the need to take afternoon naps. I was informed that I still have around a full month of adjustments to go. I highly recommend this clinic. They genuinely cared about my experience, and gave me a lot of supportive tips on how to take care of my sleep health. The mouth guard was really easy to use and easy to adjust. I highly recommend coming to this clinic to learn more about sleep health, participate in their effective sleep study, and learn if you have sleep apnea. If people in your life snore, experience brain fog or have poor sleep quality, you should share this clinic with them. read more
