Common trait in these overpriced hair salons, your barber will most likely try to start a conversation with you, which is probably the reason for the extra price you are paying for. My barber didn't really seem to care so much about what I was saying and was seemingly acting out of protocol. Honestly, I would've rather have a 30 min of silence and a reduced price then that blatant example of a forced conversation. As for the haircut itself. She messed up. She tried to hide it by slathering on gel to adjust it, but it was obvious at that point. Didn't want to start an argument so I paid and went about my day. I won't be coming back though.

Sid Sr. started cutting my hair when I was 8 years old; today I'm 63 years old. Sid Sr. retired and his son Sid junior has been cutting my hair for about the past 25 years. You will not meet a better person than Sid junior. We have gone fishing together several times. Sid Sr and his brother Billy are outstanding musicians. They have traveled the world playing music there entire life. I always look forward to getting my haircut! Sid junior is like family to me.

Billy especially will take the extra time to look for stray hairs and just overall pays attention to the cut. I don't know how to describe this stuff because I'm not an expert, but it beats the hell out of going to Procuts or wherever and having someone clip around on you while they're waiting for perms to set.
