We went to one garden center in Cedar Rapids and the employee/owner recommended we check it out because we were looking for specific things. Oh and it was like being in Disneyland! We got such beautiful flowers and then when we went back the following year, think early May or the week before Mother's Day we got some Mock Orange shrubs that were 50% off because they were from last year and boy are they doing beautifully. In that same trip we got some native plants and flowers which is super neat. Their plants are healthy so we definitely get what you pay for. I'm a big flower gardener and since going here no other nursery in our area can compete. Some might find it on the high side, just depends on what you get, but if you think of establishing a long term perennial garden, the value is so there!

The entire Blooms team was friendly and knowledgeable, but a special shout out goes to Corrine, who was particularly helpful with my tree selections and coordinating delivery/planting. Also, if you're looking for a unique gift, be sure to check out the gift shop... many super cute plants and gifts are available. I highly recommend Blooms... shop local, and let's do what we can to replant our community's tree canopy!

The flowers and Beth…read more Beth sat down with me and my fiancé and took the time to learn the vision we had for our wedding and if there were any personal touches that we wanted to incorporate. I don't know a lot about flowers so all I knew was that I wanted a lot of color. Beth took that input and the flowers turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The pricing was so reasonable as well and we were able to rent vases from HyVee so that was one less thing to worry about. I received a lot of compliments on my bouquet and all of the flowers at the wedding. I have nothing but good things to say about Beth and her team at HyVee

The flowers are now over a week old and still going strong. I went through their website and it was easy to use and the delivery was pretty cheap ($10, I think) with no other unexpected fees. If you're out of town and need to send something, they're definitely a good choice!

Shayna not only did the flowers for our ceremony arch (which was easily moved to the head table after to be our center piece runner), bouquets, boutonnières, and many arrangements for display, but we also rented the whiskey barrels and a neon sign from her! As far as the flowers themselves go, every piece Shayna made for us had so many beautiful individual pieces that all fit perfectly together to make such stunning, elaborate arrangements. I am still in awe of the job she did! I HIGHLY recommend her for your wedding needs!

She emailed back to confirm she messed up and the website was wrong; started out good. I opted to deliver on a Monday instead (this was a Friday). Needless to say, lesson learned by trying a new florist. No delivery and a $70.00 charge I have now disputed with my bank as Miss Shayna went MIA. If you are looking for quality flowers, I cannot speak on that as I never saw any, but if customer service and details are important to you, seek flowers elsewhere. Try Patricia's Petals. They did a great job for me last summer!

This one was not like that. Immediately the workers were very friendly, and helped me out. One of the workers spent an HOUR with me trying to find the best products for my skin within a budget. She didn't act like it was just a job, she seemed genuinely excited for me about my skin care journey. She listened super well and was able to find things that I liked.
