They put on small shows, a lot with children, and have some comedy acts, and local stars. They do not host major shows though, it is more on a local scale. Pantomimes at christmas etc etc. There is free parking for theatre available through Cwmbran Shopping, where the theatre is based, and the bus station is right next door, allowing easy access for visitors.

However this small theatre plays host to a variety of shows and acts throughout the year as well as corporate events and job fairs! it's also a convenient walk to food establishments sit in or take aways types and plenty of hostelry's if you fancy a quick drink afterwards. I suppos this woudl fit ideally with a christmas day out; some shopping in the morning, a bit to eat nearby and a show in the evening and all with free shopping. It's definitely worth looking into if you're looking for somewhere to go.

Using digital displays, the museum creates pictures of how grand these Roman baths would have looked in Roman times, with audio guides and videos. Roman Wales was the farthest west that the Roman Empire in Roman Britain stretched to, and as a defence point the fortress at Caerleon was one of just 3 permanent Roman Legionary fortresses, and was occupied for more than 200 years. The Roman Baths Museum lies inside what remains of the fortress (of 'Isca Augusta'), near the National Roman Legion Museum - another top sight in this area.

I grew up going…read moreto this cinema, and £2 per film at that time seemed a good idea, but now that I am six foot, I would not choose to go here as it is very old fashioned and alternatives around are much more comfortable and have a better experience. A new cinema has opened up in Cwmbran which is much better. Its good if you are into old fashioned cinemas or fancy something a bit retro style but it is not for me.
