I don't know how it is possible that I didn't review Jill immediately, in fact I am pretty sure I did. . . That said, holy crap, Jill is the best thing that has ever happened to day of wedding planning. As an event/meeting planner, not only did she tolerate my over the top google docs, but she kept me blissfully unaware of any issues that came up day of. We laughed about the issues later, but in the midst of things? I was too busy enjoying the best day ever to worry about anything. As a planner, the idea of getting involved in an event six weeks out gives me hives, but Jill rolls in like a bolt of silk - coordinating all the things, troubleshooting the holes you hadn't considered, and generally lending a hand however needed. Words seriously cannot express how phenomenal Jill is!! She was without a doubt the best decision we made in terms of wedding vendors. From the moment we met, I knew Jill was going to be amazing. I could tell she was extremely organized, professional, and I loved that she had a business degree background. She was one of the few people who did not scoff at the idea that we did not really have wedding "colors" but had more of an overall "feel". We did the 6 week package with Jill, and she took care of making our timeline (which we even ran early on at the reception and allowed us to play a super fun game with the DJ) and communicating and coordinating everything with all of our vendors. We had our reception at the Oakland Zoo Snow Building, which essentially included only the building and banquet tables - everything else was from outside vendors which we had to find on our own. Jill did an absolutely amazing job handling all of the vendors we'd chosen. We had our DJ, caterer, photographer, videographer, and photo booth guy come up to us on separate occasions throughout the night at the reception to tell us Jill was the BEST coordinator they had ever worked with before, which is saying a lot considering how many weddings they do! Communicating with Jill was a breeze. We exchanged emails and had phone meetings throughout the last few weeks before our wedding. Two days before the wedding, Jill drove to our house and loaded up her van with all of our reception decorations. I'd left instructions for many of the items to show where they should go in the room, but many of the decorations I'd just told her to put wherever she felt they looked best. Our reception turned out to be more beautiful and even more perfect than I ever could have imagined!! Jill executed our vision flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly. I never once got a sense of stress from her throughout the entire process. Even when I had concerns with our BevMo order, Jill calmed me down and assured me she would take care of everything. She did. If there were any issues at all that happened at the reception, my husband and I were never aware. We were able to have the most amazing night celebrating with our family and friends, and we owe that to Jill. You absolutely will not be disappointed with Jill! Unless of course she is not available on your wedding day, then you should be disappointed...so just make sure to lock her down early! read more

Jill is absolutely amazing!!!! To say she made our big day smooth and stress-free would be a big understatement!! I picked the "day of" package and Jill started to work on the timeline 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Jill was definitely the BEST investment we made for our wedding. We could not have survived the stress and hectic-ness of the wedding without her! Jill really went above and beyond her job to take the stress out of our wedding weekend (and weeks leading up to it) and we could not be more thankful! Wedding May 14, 2016 in Walnut Creek. Jill was great throughout the entire process. She offered guidance and kept in touch via email, which as a bride planning and planning it's much appreciated. She offered a detailed timeline that all of my vendors used. Of course, there will be mishaps, but we worked together to resolve anything that came up. I won't go through all the details, but having a coordinator like Jill to take care of the little things and the big things on your wedding day is well worth it. We were able to enjoy our guests, and with a day that you put so much time, effort, and money into, she made sure we were able to truly celebrate - even if the day does FLY by. Jill did a truly exceptional job coordinating my wedding about a month ago. While we were technically paying for her "day-of" services, she provided so much more than that. We met about 6 weeks before the wedding, and she was highly organized. She helped us think through every detail of the wedding to ensure the actual day would run smoothly. In many cases, she raised questions about important details we hadn't even considered. Whenever we were unsure of what to do, she helped us come to resolutions by asking good questions and offering helpful, creative ideas. She coordinated with all our vendors beforehand to make sure that all the details were completely ironed out. On my actual wedding day, Jill was incredible at making sure everything ran smoothly. Her being there was a true gift to me and my family, because we were able to focus on enjoying every moment of the wedding, and were not stressed at all in how things were going. Jill is amazing! I hired her to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding on March 10, 2018. She was recommended by the woman baking our cake. Six weeks before our wedding, Jill hit the ground running. She gave us some suggestions for how the day should run, and provided a detailed timeline that she sent out to all of our vendors. We had planned to have our wedding outside, but had a backup rain plan just in case. It looked like it wasn't going to rain that day, so we decided to have it outdoors. 45 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin, it started sprinkling. I was a little stressed because guests had already started arriving and everything was already set up. Jill was very calm when she told me about the situation, and recommended that we bring the ceremony indoors. Everything went so smoothly after that. I don't know what I would have done if she wasn't there. At one point, our best man turned to us and said, "What ever you're paying Jill, it's not enough." That's how hard she worked for us. If I hadn't hired Jill, I don't know if I would have been able to enjoy the day as much as I did. It was so nice to not have to worry about the little details and to just enjoy myself. Hire Jill! Jill is absolutely amazing to work with! My mom really wanted a day-of wedding planner so that she wouldn't have to be stressed during my wedding. Our church and reception venue each had their own on-site planner. At the reception venue, the planner always leaves once dinner is served, and that worried my mom. We decided to hire Jill for the day-of wedding package based on a recommendation from a friend and also a positive recommendation from our photographer. Jill's "day-of" package is actually a 6-week package. She explained that in order to best do her job on the wedding day, her policy was that she meets with her client 6 weeks before the wedding and then helps with last minute details, confirms with vendors, makes timelines, etc. She also corresponded with me throughout the process via email and phone to offer vendor suggestions and was there for me to bounce ideas off of. Jill is a very timeline-driven, business-oriented planner, which is exactly what I wanted. Because there was an on-site planner, Jill did not have to do as much set-up as she regularly would. She was upfront about this but ensured us that she would still be worth our money, and she certainly was! She was very professional, calm, and cheery. She created an incredibly detailed (flexible) timeline to ensure that nothing was left out that day. At our rehearsal, the on-site planner was not pleasant to work with. She might have just been having a bad day, but she was clearly making life difficult for everyone in the room. After the first run through of our wedding, Jill stepped in and courteously yet firmly explained to the woman that we were going to make some changes. I was so impressed by her ability to be professional in such a touchy situation. My parents, my husband, and I were able to enjoy ourselves throughout the entire wedding evening. After we left, my parents went to leave and found their car was already packed with all the gifts, toasting flutes, cake-cutting knife, and all the other supplies and decorations that we had. Jill is amazing. We could not have planned our backyard wedding with 75 guests without her. We needed someone to help us with the logistics of having our ceremony and reception in our yard and she was so knowledgeable and experienced. She helped us figure out where everything would be set up and when things would be moved around, which was challenging since we have multiple levels in our hilly backyard. Planning a wedding is stressful but having her available to answer our questions and be a a source of knowledge was very comforting. We had four meetings with her leading up to the wedding and she was very responsive even between meetings. She got back to us in a timely manner when we emailed her questions and when we sent her our vendor contracts to look over. Jill planned our wedding in 2007 for 100 guests. She had her job cut out for her- we had our wedding at a venue that does not normally host weddings, so we went out and found our own caterer, DJ, photographer, florist... the works. Jill was extremely helpful at coordinating the various vendors, helping us with our budget and contracts, and making sure the event went smoothly. Wow! Jill did suuuch a great job coordinating our wedding. We were so impressed with her skill, knowledge and leadership. In the weeks leading up to the event Jill was very helpful and met me at the venue to go over details. She provided advice and insight on many details I hadn't thought of. Leading up to the wedding I dropped off all of my wedding items with Jill and inundated her with spreadsheets and instructions. I am pretty type-A and Jill literally captured everything I asked and then went above and beyond and added her own personal, skilled touches. Jill is also not just a coordinator- she has great taste and is able to take the lead on decor. I gave her all of my decor items and they were laid out beautifully- she really has an eye for it and did a much better job that I would have. Jill executed our rehearsal professionally, efficiently and quickly. She really showed her leadership skills as she herded around and coordinated so many people. Jill's personality was also just so pleasant- I never felt guilty or weird asking her for things, and she was able to get things done and boss people around without them even knowing they were being bossed around :) Jill was responsive, executed everything perfectly and truly went above and beyond. Jill was just fabulous at our recent wedding. I can't imagine how we would have managed without her. She worked with us in the last 6 weeks leading up to the wedding helping us make a timeline, coordinate with other vendors, and took all the stuff we needed to bring to the wedding at the rehearsal so we didn't need to deal with it. She handled the details on the day of, and I just didn't have to think about it. She handled making sure that everything got set up properly (whether by the caterer, the florist, friends or her, I don't know, because she handled it), and packed everything into our friends cars at the end. When people started asking me logistical questions, she redirected them, so I didn't have to deal with them at my wedding. She made a very detailed timeline, and then was flexible based on the flow of the party to adapt on the fly. I honestly don't know everything she did, because on the day of the wedding, I did not have to handle a thing, and my partner and I and our parents were able to relax and be present and not focused on the logistics. Hiring Jill as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. I don't think I could ever thank her enough for making our celebration run so smoothly. It truly was a perfect day for me because Jill was there. Not only is she extremely organized, responsive, and diligent, but she is an absolute joy to work with and was such a calming presence during our wedding. I was originally hesitant about hiring a coordinator. We got married at a country club that provided its own wedding coordinator. About three months away from our wedding, I started getting very nervous about all of the many details and parts coming together. It also was pretty clear that I needed more help than the club's coordinator. I hired Jill for a six week organizing package. She was so incredibly helpful in putting together all of the details of the event. She created an incredibly detailed timeline and made some great suggestions regarding the sequence of events. She also had fantastic ideas about more customized and unique wedding programs. She came to our house a few days before the wedding to pick up all the stuff that you don't want to be thinking about the day of your wedding (escort cards, party favors, bridesmaid gifts, guest books, etc.). Everything was set up perfectly for the wedding, and she packed up the cars during the event so that there was nothing to do after the event ended. She also handled any potential issues with such ease. For example, one of the shuttles sent our guests to the wrong place. Jill fixed the problem, got the stranded guests to the venue, and our wedding started right on time. Even better, I had no idea that anything was wrong. Her services are incredibly reasonable. Wedding in Oakland on October 1, 2016 We hired Jill for my wedding after enjoying working with her at my sister's wedding a few years ago. As an event planner by profession, I knew I wanted a day-of planner so I wouldn't obsess over every detail, but also knew I needed someone even better than me that I could trust. Jill was exactly this. As everyone else states, she is extremely professional, and personable. She has the unique ability to quickly come up with a solution during challenges and doesn't miss a beat. If there were conflicting vendors or other 3rd parties, she spoke to them with graceful authority, guiding them in her (our) direction. I was able to truly enjoy my wedding day, and didn't worry about a thing. She checked in with all the vendors for delivery, set-up, load out, etc, checked the room set up, set out our table numbers and favors, helped move items between rooms after the cocktail hour, and packed the car before the evening was over so my family didn't have to stay late to gather everything. Most importantly, throughout the evening she would grab my attention to update me on my role ("we should cut the cake in 10 minutes, so whenever you feel ready meet me by the table") so I didn't have to check the time or worry about anything except having fun and socializing with my guests. There was one problem at the church (church's fault) which she immediately handled, and the guests likely didn't notice. There are literally no words I can offer to do justice for job that Jill performed as our San Francisco Presidio wedding coordinator. Without a shadow of a doubt, my decision to hire Jill three months before he wedding was THE best decision I could have made. I discovered Jill through our outstanding catering company, Aurora catering, and their referral to Jill was just another home run for them. Jill is THE person you want to lean on on the last weeks leading up to the event. I was able to meet with Jen multiple times to get details worked out prior to the event. Jill coordinated both the pick up and drop off of items that needed transported to from our Pacifica home to the SF Presidio. Her efforts were above and beyond what I expected, and flawlessly executed to the T. Jill coordinated the rehearsal dinner which was its own crazy party, that required serious leadership and take charge initiative. Moms, aunts, ladies and gentlemen alike respected her command in taking the lead to orchestrate the events/s, issuing direction and instruction to all parties. She was firm, clear, patient ....*exceptionally patient* with wedding parties and family members, beyond organized and friendly, while remaining calm and consistent along the way. I can't even begin to explain what an amazing help Jill was to my husband and I at our 8/13/11 wedding. We booked her to do our "day-of" planning, but in preparation for that, Jill gave us tons of her personal time. A wedding planner is one of those "perks" a lot of brides think they don't need, but in reality is such a vital necessity. I knew I needed the help of a day-of planner, (which in reality was a month-of planner) so I met with Jill, instantly clicked with her and trusted her with the responsibility of my wedding day. She really shone by taking the reins, finalizing details with vendors, leading the rehearsal, organizing the set up, and helping break down at the end of the night. JILL IS THE BEST!!!! I started planning my wedding almost 2 years in advance. With this being said I did a lot of research for my vendors. Jill was the most reasonably priced for all she does. She met with me about once a month giving me list of things to get done. This was very helpful. She also refered me to vendors and created the timeline for the wedding. Very thorough! The month of the wedding she handled all vendors. The day of the wedding she handled everything. I was freaking out because we were short one bouquet. She said no problem and literally 3 minutes later came back with a bouquet she had made out of some of the flowers from the memorial vase. FANTASTIC! I have worked with Jill on multiple events, including my own wedding and several corporate events. She is incredibly easy to work with, really creative and full of ideas (both fanciful and practical), and helped us stick to our budget. I had her help me on the "day of" my wedding -- she knew exactly what I needed and was incredibly helpful during my little backyard wedding. She helped me figure out a few logistics before the big day, and then she was there with us all day for the actual wedding, making sure everything went smoothly. Jill is an amazing professional and a lovely and energetic person. She was so organized and thoughtful - always one step ahead of any problem or our worries.
