When we got the quote we said we only wanted the backdrop and asked for an updated quote. He kept resending the same quote, citing tech issues, etc. Two weeks later, he finally said he's "not comfortable only renting us the backdrop" - they used to have a $500 min. Well, this is not on his website, it's not on the quote, wasn't mentioned on the call, the texts, the emails and we're days away from our party without a backdrop. He keeps insisting he's giving us "excellent customer service." So frustrating.

I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but the whole experience was so much fun, I couldn't wait to write a review and recommend them to others. My hair and makeup session was really a blast. Without being able to see what Stacey was doing, I had no idea what to expect ... wow! I literally did not recognize myself -- and this is a good thing. In under an hour, I went from dumpy, pasty and frizzy to glamour girl. Stacey kept me entertained the whole time, and was happy to take the look in a different direction when one technique wasn't coming out quite right. I brought most of my own wardrobe, but also made a few selections from the items on hand -- I was impressed with the variety of sizes available and was able to find something that fit, although I can charitably be described as "zaftig". And on to the photo shoot! Carol has a great eye for lighting, poses, colors and how to guide you into a flattering shot. The pictures look amazing! I look totally unlike myself, which is exactly what I was going for. We had such a good time -- she has a knack for making you feel happy and photogenic, and the pictures reflect that, as well as being beautifully shot, composed, lit, etc. They are really artistic and fun, classy through and through ... Carol and Stacey are consummate professionals. I will definitely be back for more (especially if I can de-zaftig myself a little), I'd recommend them to anyone interested in a fun photo shoot, and if, heaven forbid, I were in the position to need a wedding photographer, Carol would be the first person I'd ask. :) Brava ladies!!

I always call Carol "the magical photographer" because I can guarantee that you will look at the photos she takes of you and think you look amazing! That's been my experience on every single one of the occasions that I have hired her. I have used her any time I have been in the market for band photos (with my bands the Neptunas and Cheap Chick) and she has amazed me and my band mates every time. I also have to add that not only does she do fantastic work, she is a delight and a pleasure to work with. Photo shoots in general can be a drag, but every time I've done it with her, it was FUN! Seriously! She gets to work but makes the whole experience calm and happy. The bottom line though is that her photos are beautiful, artistic, professional and simply gorgeous! I, of course, had to get my face painted because I love to. Elizabeth didn't have the typical booklet to choose from, but she was able to go off requests, which I was really impressed by. I called and left a message with what I was looking for and date and in 30 minutes I received a call back from WenI who thoroughly explained to me the services offered and cost. They thankfully did have an artist, Bianca, available on the day that I needed one. On the day of the party, Bianca was punctual, professional and friendly. She set up quickly and got right to face painting all the cutest faces. Bianca is extremely talented, her master pieces where amazing and the kids loved it. She was able to paint over 15 kids faces in 2 hrs! And what she was creating was not your standard panda bear butterfly looks, she was full on face painting. The first was at a huge conference room in a hotel. Seems kinda lackluster, right? No it turned out amazing. Nayeli recommended lighting and designed the room to make it look like a huge Hollywood gala event. I had zero vision and thank goodness I relied on her for everything. For my second daughters bat mitzvah we had issues due to Covid and Nayeli found an incredible out door facility that turned out fantastic. With her incredible enthusiasm and friendly demeanor she walked me through the entire process. Her choices in everything from the lighting to the food to the layout to the table settings to the DJ is top notch and right on point. My wife had a lot of opinions and had certain things that needed to happen for the events, and Nayeli accommodated all of her needs and then some.
