Refused entry to movie for illigitimst reasons. The manager asked me and my friend for id for a 15+ movie even though we are 15 and didn't think we would need to prove it. I like this cinema much more than the other one I have visited so far on the Coast. They have a much larger snack area to select from heaps of candy options, more slurp options etc, etc. Not to mention they have a nice bar area, so if you're early for your movie you could casually grab a drink and wait - totally bonus. It was larger, and it definitely smelled better than the other cinema I've been to - but I'm not gonna lie the theatre itself still kind of smelled to me. I was really surprised that our movie wasn't very full since it was still a newer movie and it was a Saturday night - but that's definitely a positive. I havent been to the Robina Gold Class before so this was a bit of a treat in the gloomy weather. I went to see The Man of Steel which I really enjoyed, I am quite a fan. The waiting area is okay, not too fancy but works fine. The cinema is not very large but the seats are very good. They adjust both in recline and the footrest electrically, I wish I could have one of these when I fly. The seating position is excellent and you would have to have an unusually tall person in front of you to have your view blocked. I ordered the chips 3 ways which is basically 2 types of chips and onion rings and 3 types of dips. It is a bit pricey but it was good. I had a coke and also a latte, no complaints. The service was prompt, food hot and tasty. The only downside here is if you don't eat then you could end up sitting in a place that really smells of food and could get quite annoying. I wasn't bothered either way. A great way to spend a mid week lunch time, thoroughly enjoyed myself. read more
