I told the clerk that I needed a length of AT LEAST 10GA wire to install my trolling motor. He politely disappeared and returned with a length he claimed to be from a spool labeled 2-10. I questioned that he was certain it was 10Ga and he insisted it was. There are no identifying markings on the sheathing or wire. (weird) I installed a 10 ft length and am now popping a 50Amp breaker at full speed Drawing 42Amps @ 24V. I believe he sold me 12GA wire or worse yet 14Ga at the 10GA price. 12GA is just not enough for the amperage I wish to draw. Even keel obviously doesn't care if you start a fire on your boat. Worse yet, it would have been cheaper to buy a set of jumper cables from farm and fleet then remove the clamps for the wire run!! Even keel is just dishonest. Why can't I post zero stars? read more

Bought a brand new pontoon boat off their showroom floor and had nothing but problems. First, they attached The cables to short for our motor so we could only turn left. Then the radio and horn went out. They came to us and fixed the radio and horn. But then the radio immediately went out again. They fixed the cable for the motor and horn but to this day try the radio will not work. My husband called over three times last year and left messages for John and he will not return our phones call. Very poor customer service! Will shop elsewhere from now on. read more

Took my outboard there after hitting a rock - they looked at it for me but I had to call for the estimate - the day after they still didn't have the estimate completed but said it would be way expensive to fix. I told them I would be picking it up then - went to pick it up and the motor was in pieces with all the parts in a box mixed together. Ridiculous. read more
