I remembered meeting Claudia years ago at an open house where she was the sellers agent and remembered liking her vibe so much that I kept her business card for years! What I loved about working with Claudia is she's extremely patient, really well connected (other agents know her and like working with her, which actually matters a lot), truly works at understanding the picture of your ideal home, and never pushed/pressured me into putting in a bid if I wasn't sure or ready. In contrast, I have experienced a realtor before who really laid on the pressure, saying things like, "This is such a great deal, but you need to put in a bid NOW!" Because of her experience in the SF market, Claudia has a good sense for what homes are truly worth. What's more, I can tell you that Claudia truly cares about her clients and forming long lasting friendships with her clients. It has been 4 months since I bought my home and Claudia still calls me to check up on me :)

Not only does Claudia deeply understand real estate and the San Francisco market, she is also a genuinely wonderful person--charming, smart, calm, and incredibly reliable. Selling a home is an emotional process, and that relationship matters enormously. Claudia excelled on every level. Even though we are very organized, Claudia was always several steps ahead of us. With an extremely short window to get the property on the market, she quickly found and scheduled top-quality tradespeople and services at prices we never could have secured on our own. Her experience showed at every turn--she anticipated issues before they arose and pre-empted every possible scenario. By the time we went live, we were completely bulletproof. Claudia truly listens. She built a clear strategy around our end goal and executed it flawlessly. Every detail--from house styling and presentation to photography to pricing--was thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, tested with a trusted group of experienced colleagues, and refined. Nothing was left to chance. The result? We sold within one week, accepting an offer **21% over asking**. If you want exceptional results, choose Claudia. Tell her your ideal outcome, trust her expertise, and follow her guidance exactly--she genuinely knows what she's doing. Highly, highly recommended.

They don't look after properties well and handle business remotely not sending agents to look after properties. Good luck holding management accountable. I have been in contact with a T. Mr. Unger rudely dismissed me like a pest or trash (like the giant dumpsters that sit outside of the property - a major eye sore). T. Unger would not even grant me 2 min. of his precious time. I do plan on escalating my issues further up to company leadership as I have tried my best to handle issues politely and effectively. This is not personal. This is just what I have to do to make sure I am being treated fairly. I am just a small business and their companies lack of communication and care has damaged my companies professional image and reputation.

We were new to the process and figuring out what exactly we wanted, and Meryl was very patient and helpful in sharing her experience and perspective. Even when we concluded that the timing wasn't right at that point and decided to pause our search several months later, Meryl was extremely supportive and understanding. I never felt like she pressured us in any direction; she met us exactly where we were. After keeping in touch over the years, we recently decided that the timing was right and launched back into the house search process. We were more on the particular side when it came to our preferences, but Meryl again was nothing but supportive, and in fact very proactively pointing out both pros and cons alike. When we finally found the house of our dreams, Meryl helped us to have our first offer accepted on very good negotiation terms that we are extremely satisfied with. This is thanks to her strong data-driven approach, her experience, and her encouraging and healthy perspective when it comes to negotiation. The fact that we've been in touch for over five years and that she truly met us where we were to help us ultimately find the house of our dreams when we were ready -- points to what an amazing agent she is. Thanks, Meryl! Also, her housing analysis newsletter is excellent -- even though we've officially bought our house and completed that journey, I still look forward to receiving and reading it regularly.

I can't say enough about Silvia Martinelli. I sold my condo in Foster City in June 2009 after only…read more3 open houses and it sold for only $5,000 below my asking price of $520K at the time. At the time of my condo sale, there was another condo in the complex asking for $525K for a 3/2 and mine was a 2/2. I felt what made a difference was that my place was a lot nicer to begin with, but it was really Silvia's belief that my place would sell and she did everything possible to make that happen. She is very organized, detail-oriented, kept me updated as much as I needed her to, and she took care of everything. I was very thorough during my search for the perfect agent -- I interviewed 6 other agents. The first time I spoke with Silvia, my intuition told me to go with her because of her friendliness, professionalism, honesty, and she believed my place was as nice as I did. The other agents told me that my place was nice, but that we needed to focus on the trend of the market and that if we don't want it to sit on the market for a very long time, the most I could ask for was $490K. Silvia was different. She performed a thorough market analysis, but she was very good about allowing me to be the decision maker. I feel she is very good about accommodating to my personality and my personal needs. And she never doubted that my place would sell for the price that I listed for. This is the type of agent you want on your side because she will present your place and if she didn't believe in the price I think others would've picked up on it. Anyway, when I said she took care of everything... I mean she took care of everything -- from the beginning to end!! Starting with the cleaning crew, helping me hire painters, she hired wonderful stagers, having effective marketing materials, to having the cleaning crew there when I moved out, etc., etc. She even had her husband help me move my heavy entertainment center from the living room to the 2nd bedroom. I believe she went above and beyond the call of duty and that says a lot to me. She is dedicated, kind, professional, personable, and a world class, caring person. I truly believe that my place sold for the price that I was willing to settle with because of Silvia. She is an awesome agent and I tell my friends about her all the time. I hope that her company continues to thrive and wish nothing but wonderful things to flow in her direction.

Marisa the mortgage broker: Very honest, upfront, and plain diligent in expediting the mortgage end of things and working with Fidelity Title Company (see my review.) Carlos, the carpenter: A very nice guy who is the "Jack of all trades," he installed a new fan in the master bathroom, new expansion joints on our walkway, new drapes, braced our water heater, and installed a few baseboards in the master bedroom. Cesar, Pedro, and Arturo Corona; the painters: They did a very good job with the exception of a few paint drips here and there and some left over wallpaper that was painted over. They diligently and quickly got the entire inside of our house painted with with Kelly-Moore and our deck stained with Cabbet Stain. They did a good job of fixing up our downstairs bathroom which was done sloppily by a friend of our previous painter (see my review.) Marco, the grannet guy: He did a thorough job in installing and sealing our new grannet countertops and backsplashes, leaving nothing to chance and even cut a special piece for behind our sink. He also installed a new stainless steel sink which compliments it all the more. William, the home inspector: He had a sense of humor and was very thorough in evaluating the house, finding only a few minor problems that we took care of. Once again, kudos to Sylvia for her thorough knowledge, help, referrals, and expediting the process; making it pleasant and smooth. So, for an excellent agent filled with vast knowledge and excellent partners, Sylvia and Realty World Martinelli Properties for that matter cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.!
