I lived in the tri-state area 16 years before I had the incredible experience of the small locally owned Evaronis Pizza, but I'm glad I finally tried it! Amazing. A thin crispy crust and incredible pizza sauce...kinda sweet tasting. Their salads are HUGE and also delicious. Actually, everything is good - you can't go wrong! read more

Evaroni's Pizza - Elegantly served. Best pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Kenova, West Virginia

Hands down the best pizza in the Tri-state area! Great atmosphere (especially if you are a Marshall fan), great pizza and baked spaghetti. The owner, Mr. Evans, still hangs out and the servers are excellent! read more

We stopped at Evaroni's after hearing good reviews about the baked spaghetti. Our food was truly horrible. It tasted like old taco sauce and garlic bread was an "upgrade" to the meal. My dinner came with bread out of a bag. After two bites we asked for the check. We are both foodies and love a good meal. This did NOT quality as edible. read more

Everything has changed since the ownership has changed. The staff is untrained, and needs to be taught how to seat people. Waited 40 minutes and were seated around twice with the same amount of people that were in our party. read more

Pizza sauce is very sweet, staff is really nice and quick on the drink refills. The crust is crunchy but it almost tastes like Pillsbury pizza dough and they don't give much pepperoni maybe because they are bigger then usual. Even though the atmosphere is dated it does have a great ambiance. Overall, the pizza is overpriced. read more

We have dined here several times. Came today to celebrate our twin sons' birthday. Our favorite pizza by far. Service is good, atmosphere relaxed. Price is a little on the expensive side. We really enjoy their pizza though! read more

Small family pizza place, the crust is good and crunchy but the sauce is a little sweet for the wife. I liked it and will more than likely be making a stop again. Service was good and keep our drinks refilled all the time we was there. read more

I can't say enough great stuff about this place. The pizza is phenomenal. The only issue I have ever had is slow service.

Understaffed & continued seating one waiter with half the restaurant knowing it was physically impossible for him to serve that many people. The waiter Matt was personable when he did have time to tend to us. We were literally walking to get our own drink refills. Restaurant splits tips between all servers which is a terrible practice and does not encourage good service. Toppings like black olives were chopped up into tiny pieces that you could not taste, likely to increase profits. The crust was like eating cardboard. Sauce is too sweet for my liking as noted by others. I paid for someone else's ticket and told them to make sure they didn't charge her. Despite not being able to find her ticket, they made her pay again and she had to return to get a refund. When I called on my cell to discuss, they were rude and dismissive about it and never apologized. Very thankful I don't live here and have amazing pizza joints at home! To the owner, had no intention on writing a review until you or your staff was rude when calling to discuss the double charge. Other negative reviews have said the owner here is rude to staff and customers. Unusual number of security cameras throughout the restaurant. There is only one Evaroni's in the world, and I am thankful it is not where I live. read more

Expensive. Nothing special other than served piping hot. Large pepperonis are different but 18$ for a 1 topping large is way too much

Best pizza ever, in my opinion of course haha. The sauce is sweet, the cheese is melted perfectly, and the crust isn't too thin or too thick. The atmosphere is very welcoming, I love all the Marshall decorations and the staff is always nice! It is very spacious too, giving customers low waiting times on busy nights. I always love having my favorite pizza! read more

I really try to avoid writing a review after only eating someplace once, but this is an exception. We were passing through and chose Evaroni's based on online reviews. We arrived to find the place packed with a short wait for a table. However, it was all worth it. They know how to make a pizza. The crust and cheese blend are both spot on, the sauce has just a hint of sweet, and the cheese sticks have some sort of herbs and spices on them that set them off. I want one in my town! read more

Wow is all I can say! I'm not one to write reviews I normally just use this app to see about places I intend to go to so I can get a feel. My family and I went to this establishment this evening for dinner. We got two pizzas and some drinks and over priced frozen cheese fries. We honestly discussed if our drive there was worth it as we were eating due to the overly sweet sauce. Other reviews had stated it was sweet but wow! My clincher was the way the manager came out and spoke to one of her staff. She came to the waitress yelling and told her they were making a sign on Monday and if they didn't do whatever she wanted them to do they would be fired! I have worked in several restaurants and I have never had a manager speak to me the way she yelled at that lady! And not to mention wouldn't you take your staff in a private area to reprimand them? Not very professional if you ask me... between the price, quality and way she spoke to that poor girl I would never go back! Maybe you should go back to business school and take some more courses to refresh your degree!!!!! read more

My parents are from the Chesapeake/Huntington area so we are in town from Columbus for labor day weekend. We all went out for dinner to get pizza! It was very busy but we got our drinks and food at a pretty good time and didn't have a wait when we arrived. The waitress was friendly and both of our pizzas were really tasty! 5 stars for this place :) read more

Wow! My husband ate here during college and wanted to take me back. Again, wow! I think it was the best pizza I have ever eaten. I really like desserts and I think that is the reason. The sauce is very sweet. If you like desserts, then this will be close to perfection for you. I called in our order because we were just passing through. The girl that took my order could not have been more friendly or helpful. read more

I used to tell people that I never met a pizza I didn't like. That changed the night I went to Evaroni's. The pizza has some potential to be at least palatable, but they use some sweet-tasting sauce that is just awful. My wife and I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza, choked down a few pieces, and then brought it home with the intention of maybe giving it to our neighbor's dog, but it ended up getting thrown in the garbage. I didn't even want to subject a dog to that terrible pizza. It's a classy looking establishment, but the service is poor, or at least it was the one time I went. I didn't try anything other than the pizza and the cheese breadsticks (which was also ruined by that disgusting sauce they use), so maybe they have some other food with redeeming value. I won't know because I'm never going back. read more

Evaroni's has some of the best pizza you'll ever eat, and certainly the best in the Tristate area (with Rocky Tops sweet sauce right there with them). Their pies have a unique flavor of their own mainly because whatever they're putting in their sauce is just unbelievably good. This place is absolutely fantastic for groups. The kind of place you take the team after your kids sporting events, or the family for someone's birthday, etc. The ambiance is classic and classy and the wait staff is always friendly. Evaroni's makes Kenova shine. read more

Don't live there any more but always order two large every time. One to eat there and one half bake to take back to PA with me. Sausage & pepperoni. Half bakes are just as good. Sauce is out of this world but it does always make thirsty for hours. If you think you've has good pizza and it wasn't Evaroni's you are clueless or have lost your mind. Been Aton there for 40 years. Last slice was as good as my first. read more

I personally think the pizza sauce is entirely too sweet but I might be alone on this because everybody loves the place.

What a really nice place for a family meal. The pizza is tasty and the service is awesome. Sodas are a bit small but free refills when dining in. The sauce is sweet and the crust flavorful. I will definitely be returning. read more

Evaroni's Pizza - Cheesy! - Pizza Near Me - Kenova, West Virginia

I've been coming to Evaroni's for years and it's always been my family's favorite pizza place. Tonight however, we were slightly disappointed. At 8:00, we looked up the hours online and it said they close at 9:30. We decided to drive 40 minutes (due to traffic) from Barboursville to eat there. Putting us there at 8:40. As we walk into the lobby, an older lady frowns at us. I go onto say there is 3 of us and she interrupts me and says "well our dining room closes in 15 minutes". My mom says "well can we eat? It's still 15 minutes till you close?" The older lady goes on to say again "well the dining room closes in 15 minutes" with a tone that suggests "get out we don't want your business". My mom says again "can we get a table or are you not going to serve us?" The older lady says "you can take a pizza to go if you want". She obviously did not care about us our our business (she was incredibly rude if I might add). As I have worked in a restaurant myself, I have always been taught we will seat and serve customers until the second we close. In conclusion, the attitude we saw tonight is not how you talk to customers or any person for that matter. read more

There is no other pizza, they just pretend to be pizza. Have ate here 1 to 2 times a week for over 20 years and would more often if it were closer. The wonderful waitresses know our order by heart. I could literally drink the sauce and the sweet tea is the bomb! Don't know how anyone wouldn't like it. read more

Fantastic pizza, but dreadful service. The tips are all split between the servers - so no one goes above or beyond. Actually, they don't even give mediocre service. It's pretty bad. You'll get your order, but don't expect any friendliness. I find the signs posted around the store about the tipping and about "absolutely no outside food" (not even cakes or cupcakes - which are things they don't even offer) to be in as almost as bad taste as their tacky and outdated booths and wood paneling. Do yourself a favor and get carryout. read more

First time writing a review for anything. Just wanted to give my feedback to a great local restaurant. Iv been eating at Evaroni's Pizza for several years. In my opinion along with my whole family it's the best pizza We have ever eaten. Everything about the pizza is spot on. Service and food has always been great every time. We have eaten there probably 40 times at least. It's not just another pizza place that blends in with the rest. It's got its own unique taste like no other pizza iv ever tried. I highly recommend this pizza to anyone! read more

Got a pizza with bacon and pepperoni, the potato wedges and the small baked spaghetti. As for the pizza wowza sauce! Uniquely sweet marinara sauce. The potato wedges were delicious. Great crust. Great toppings. Nice staff. Nostalgic. Sauce is way too sweet for me.

Great pizza. I've been a fan for over 30 years. Love the sweet pizza sauce! We try to eat there at least one time per month.

I believe the price range is a mistake (Its expensive) but other than that its good pizza.

Terrible! I am Italian and love a good sweet spaghetti sauce, but their sweet sauce is more like having a tomato dessert pizza. It's way too sweet. The pizza is sloppy. I also ordered a baked spaghetti and there was zero sauce on the noodles. Disappointing. read more

In all the world, there is only one Evaroni's. That one Evaroni's is absolutely the BEST pizza on the planet.
