Even the food court has changed as basically your only options are Chinese or Mexican. There are a few good store at Eastland Mall: Bath and body works, hot topic, Spencer, Victoria's Secret, a couple overpriced shoe store, just nothing that really stands out. JCPenney is even starting to go downhill. Dillards and Macys is about their only saving grace.

Then in the early 90's things started to move north of the expressway and took all the business. Everything shifted over to Eastland Mall. There is absolutely nothing left to this store. The only reason it remains open is because of the Sears. It is only a matter of time until this landmark goes under, sadly. Times change though. Now things are moving from the east and all the activity is west of green river road. Don't go to Washington Square.
