IT HAPPENED AGAIN! We visited the WRECK on October 8th, giving it one more try! As I was perusing the 'activity booklet' I saw there was a 'Haunted Forest' on October 29th, a mere 3 weeks later, exactly! For $5 per person it was a fundraiser to support the High Altitude Swim Club!
I knew we'd be interested as we'd be in Evanston again on the 29th. I went to the desk with my wallet open, to buy several tickets for my whole family and some Evanston friends!
The desk attendant said,
"Nope, sorry, you'll have to purchase tickets at a later time. The Haunted Forest hasn't been entered into the computer yet, so I have no way of accessing, or selling any tickets yet....!"
I said, "I won't be here later... this is it!
I won't be in Evanston again, until the 29th! This activity is listed in your booklet, you have a flyer on the wall advertising for it, how is it "not in" your computer??" She just shrugged and said, "sorry...?!"
Yep! This is the way the world is going folks! Dumb and dumber, all the way up the ladder! How's that golf swing of yours Scott? I bet it's pretty nice, since taking care of the Rec is your last priority!
...and my apologies to you coach! We were on board to give you lots of money through this fundraiser, but once again, the least amount of brain cells prevailed.
I am now following you Derp!
Truer words were never said about Evanston Wyoming! Hopefully the owners running these businesses will notice and do better, as it really isn't right to run a business so shamefully! Sadly the poor locals have no choice in Evanston, so they have to put up with all of these unethical practices! As a business owner myself I regularly hold Staff Meetings, so my employees know exactly how to do their job, how to troubleshoot, and be efficient! I am able to maximize productivity, retain long-term employees and boost morale! This doesn't seem to be the case here! read more
