Worst experience I've ever had buying a car. Bought a 2nd hand citroen, it had barely even been cleaned, bodywork covered in scratches that they said they'd sort before collection, they didn't. When I picked it up there was barely enough petrol to get to the nearest station to fill up, Found a handle missing, lid on screen wash broken. Complained so had to return the following week to get seat handle replaced & supposedly valeted & proper polish on the bodywork, when I picked it up, the inside sills of the doors were still filthy & the fans no longer worked. Now have to make a 3rd trip at my own expense - trying Chilwell this time to see if any better! Would NEVER EVER use Evans Halshaw again. read more

The Nissan dealership is proberly the worst I've ever had to deal with.The salesmen are rude and tell you they will sort everything on the car your interested in but this doesn't happen.Both myself and my daughter brought cars from them and had nothing but greaf trying to get them to rectify problems with bodywork Etc which should of been done before taking delivery took months to get them to sort everything.We had service plans with them and they wasn't even carried out correctly. On my service they should of changed the air filter and brake fluid,neather was done the oil in the engine was also still black.I did manage to get them to change the brake fluid and air filter but not the engine oil all they said was it always stays black.Funny enough my local garage as serviced the car for me this time and guess what the oil was golden brown. Would never go near Evans halshaw or the associated business again same with my family and frends. read more

the citron is the worst we bought a Nissan navara of them 8 weeks ago the car wasn't serviced or valeted roof bars had rust never even sorted them. when driving home it got dark the light came on the dashboard saying everthing was ok but when I got home found out I had no side lights also had no windscreen wash , have found other things wrong with it asked get them sorted, have be lied to every phone call. also never got our log book read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. We purchased a 3 year old low milage peugeot 307sw from them Sept 2010. When we viewed the car we noticed some paint work damage to the bottom of the tailgate where it had been catching on the rear bumper. Pointed this out to the salesman & he assured us that this would be rectifired by a professional bodywork company before we collected the car. Agreed to purchase the car. Collected the car and checked the tailgate OK. 2 weeks later we noticed the paint had been damaged again as the tailgate was still catching on the bumper. Telephone the dealership and returned the car for them to inspect it as requested. The car has been returned to them 3 times now in the last 3 months with this same fault every time. Each time their "technicians" have failed to correct the fault. Bumper & tailgate have both been adjusted but we still have a car with damaged paintwork and rust forming on the bare metalwork. We have since found out that the paintwork is being done onsite in a small white tent area at the dealership by a "chips away" type service. THIS IS NOT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE YOU EXPECT FROM AN APPROVED PEUGEOT MAIN DEALER. We have recieved no apologies from the company for the inconvenience caused to us and they even tried to charge us for the courtsey car loaned to us whilst the car was with them for them to repair the faults. We are currently writing to Peugeot, talking to trading standards and seeking legal advice regarding a refund on the car but they are completely refusing. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THE SALEMEN TELL YOU - £8000 paid for a car which was sold with a fault and still has the same fault. Paintwork peeling off the tailgate & rusting. A complete disgrace !!!! Buy from a company who offer 30 day moneyback/exchange deals. Wish we had. read more
