I was looking for something specific, but they didn't have it, so instead I decided to look for nylons, HUZZAH! They had those, and reasonable. Their clothing wasn't the best, but I did find makeup wipes and some other things as well. I was impressed that they carry bras in larger cup sizes.

As always the fair trade tea was top notch and a nicely presented sandwich with a little biscuit did the trick in reviving me. There are several good branches of 'high street' stores in there, like HMV, and some places to have a cup of tea and a snack as well. It's next to the main multi-story car park - again ideal if it's wet!

Theres a pretty good next shop, a surprisingly good poundland (seriously), and a good HMV. Obviously theres a bit more than that, but if you've been to shopping centres in Ayr, and Carlisle and places like it, then the Loreburne centre falls short by quite a bit. You'll need to avoid the Big Issue sellers on your way in as well, none of whom are homeless by the way.

I have a big mixture of jeans in my wardrobe from designer to high street. My oldest pair are 10 years old from Internationale. They cost next to nothing, fit perfectly and wash like a dream! Not all their stuff is like this but it is worth a look. Beware though, you probably have to be under 25 to get away with buying most of their stuff and under 20 to get away with lots of it. One thing I do still go in there for is tights. £2 or £3 and just as good as Marks more expensive pairs.

Usually I would say DP's clothes are reasonable priced, decent quality and great for work, every day wear. They also do nice costume jewellery and accessories and pretty good shoes. However, this store is quite small and doesn't ever seem to have much variety. I would say it is ok if you are looking for a top for work but doesn't offer much else. It is a shame because the Burton's up the stairs seems to have much more stock.

Their clothes are of outstanding quality but can sting the pocket a little bit. I don't mind paying for something unique or special but sometimes I wonder how they can justify a £50 price tag on a plain top similar to one being sold for a third of the price across the way in Next.
