I could not have been more wrong. I was completely blown away by how much I learned, used, and genuinely needed. Each week brought in a different expert, and the range of knowledge was incredible. Everything from marriage and relationship tips to improve the flow of your household, to managing toddler behavior, baby and toddler sleep, even a professional that helped me identify diastasis recti. There was something valuable in every single session, no matter how many kids you already have at home. And then there's the community you build. Having a weekly group of intelligent, supportive women to lean on during one of the most overwhelming seasons of life was invaluable. Its the kind of thing you don't know you need until you experience it. Becca, our group leader and the owner, made all the difference in our group. The issue here is that they shouldn't have allowed so many campers in if they don't have the staff to support it. My kids still brought home creations that "didn't work" the rest of the week. The Campus is a mix of nostalgic 90s style decor and learning filled with the kids art from wall to wall while also maintaining fresh and new innovative events for the family to get involved, learning in the classroooms, and some take home projects that were fun to work on with the kids. The class sizes are kept small which is great and you can really tell how important that is after a few months of seeing first hand your children learn to read, write, critically think, and be able to articulate their day to you. Unfortunately we are moving from the area to be closer to the family otherwise we would have stayed through kindergarten. Eva was referred to my wife and I by our pediatrician and I can see why. She was easy to get a hold of and was able to see us within 24 hours. She was very helpful in showing proper feeding techniques and came prepared with a great baby scale. Our son was experiencing weight gain issues so the scale helped to measure how much milk he was getting. She was kind enough to leave the scale with us for a few days while we monitored my son's milk intake which gave peace of mind. I had just a few questions to make sure I was on the right track and Shelly answered them all. We did a feed at her office so she could observe my technique and offer guidance. She has a comfortable office to meet in (located inside the new moms school) and I left feeling more secure in my ability to feed my baby. Not only did she help me learn how to use relaxation and hypnosis through hypnobabies courses, I was lucky enough to have her as my doula 2 years ago for the birth of my daughter. Shaz has always stuck out as the bright side and positive thing to remember about my birthing process. I still believe there is something magic in her hands as she made pain go away when she touched me. Her soft voice and genuine care was exactly the support one needs for an unmedicated birth. Even after these years, my husband and I still speak of her often. I'm compelled to share my appreciation for how good she is at what she does now that I'm expecting soon again, it puts in perspective just what a blessing someone like Shaz is.

Shaz was amazing, she prepared us with tools to overcome the anxiety that came with pregnancy, the birth itself and the aftercare for both myself and our baby. We had a hospital birth and Shaz's guidance helped us understand our choices that helped us make informed decisions for the pregnancy and birth. At the birth itself, we were ready to welcome our baby and were relatively calm thru the birth. During the 6 week course, Shaz was a super positive, humorous and engaging instructor. She was super encouraging as well when it came to homeplay and weekly updates. This helped us stay on track and continue practicing the techniques. I'd recommend this course for any first time parents that want to make informed decisions, have a natural birthing experience and handle any pre-birth jitters and pregnancy insomnia! :) SHAZ You're the best!!!
