First and foremost, their flights use the front two overhead compartments for flight equipment. Forcing customers who paid extra for their seat to put their bag elsewhere.
Second, on our flight they seated families first, no matter the age of the child, which was a problem for us as more than 80% of the passengers were families.
In these instances nothing you do will ensure you have overhead bin space (especially if you paid for a front of plane seat). You can't even throw extra money at the issue, because they don't have mid or business class with dedicated overhead bins.
Thirdly, and this wasn't an issue for us but might be for someone else, their seats are tight. I'm of average size and I doubt anyone over a size 12 would be comfortable in the first row. The seats have metal separations in between them, so passengers of size wouldn't even be able to buy a second seat for comfort.
Overall, they need to make a few changes to the style of their planes - but allowing passengers to buy first group boarding (before families) would be an easy fix that would go a long way.
