Olympiazentrum is, of course, the U-Bahn station closest to the Munich Olympic park and Olympic Village. Opened in time for the Summer Olympics that year, it services the U3 line between Oberwiesenfeld (toward Moosach) and Petuelring (toward Fürstenried West) and the U8 line which it terminates and is next to Petuelring (toward Sendlinger Tor). The station has two island platforms, which means that the doors open on the left. There is a bus station at surface level. This station is also closest to the BMW Museum, which is why I was here.
