Yeah, this was one of those stations, at least that is what I remember about this station, especially since I didn't have any change. You can either pay the driver or book the ticket online and bring the print out with you. the journey is estimated at 100min, which is meant to include some traffic. A couple of things which made it only three stars: personally I think there are too many stops between London and Oxford. Also we've got stuck in a rush hour traffic on the way out of London, which took over an hour. Sometimes buses pass by stops as they are fully booked, so if you're wanting to board after Marble Arch ... I wish you good luck.

When you open the ticket, it says you need to print it but on the top of the page it says with a big banner to download the app to use the ticket! But when you download the app there is no way to add the code of the ticket you have already bought. Only an option to buy a new one! When I explained all these design flaws to the bus driver he still made me buy a second ticket even though I explained the confusion and I show him the ticket on my phone. When I tried to open the the app to buy the second ticket guess what, the app was crushing in the check out and I ended up paying directly with card on the bus. The system is designed that way to make passengers pay for tickets twice. Moreover, There is no luggage storage. Only a tiny area for max 5 hand Luggage's. Will never use this service again, better Oxford X90 coach or train.

Southern are amongst the worst train companies for overcrowding trains and delays, and this basically summed up my experiences with them, I don't think I ever had a train with Southern that was on time. Standard Class is often very crowded, horrible and noisy and First Class is quite nice, it is quiet and not much extra but still I'm not aware of any benefits for being First Class, like free food and drink, which is offered by Virgin Trains so Is it worth it on such a short journey? Probably Not. They is not much else to say about Southern other than since 2009 they have gone so far down hill, with punctuality being as bad as the sitcom Friends, it being crowded like the tube and it not being a very nice to be, especially at peak times.

Mind you, these stations should technically be designed so as not to dump you on platforms you don't want to go to, and fortunately, as far as I'm aware, the London Underground doesn't do this. However, while the signs might be able to direct you to the correct platform, getting out at the correct exit can actually be rather quite tricky.

Victoria Underground Station is a huge Underground Station, which gets really busy (70-80 million…read morepassengers pass through the station each year) and serves London Victoria Train Station, located on Victoria Street is is close to Cardinal Place where there are a few shops, banks and restaurants and it is also a short walk away from Westminster and London Eye (although if you are going there, you can carry on the Victoria line) Victoria is on the District and Circle Line and the Victoria line, so it is pretty handy for getting to the likes of Green Park, Westminster, St. James's Park, Hammersmith and more. The staff at the station seemed really friendly, on the first visit a staff member offered to take me to the platform as I appeared to be lost, which was really kind. The Victoria line is pretty easy to get onto, but if you're looking for the District and Circle line, which was recently made step-free with Victoria now becoming a fully step-free and accessible station, it can be a nightmare. There are multiple lifts and exits to the station, making it confusing and awful if you're looking to come out of a certain end, there are about 3 or 4 lifts to get out of the station depending on which line you are using and if you want to come out at Victoria Street and Cardinal Place or Victoria Mainline Railway Station, there were a lack of signs for each which was the main flaw of the station. The station did seem clean enough, but it could have done more in terms of making going in and out of the station easier such as with making the lifts of such clearer, but overall it is a nice, modern station and basically allows you to go from central London to overseas without a single step, starting at your original station, going here and then onto the Railway Station with the Gatwick Express, getting you to the airport in a short space of time. Pretty cool A lack of signs and confusing layout of the station and lifts, making it often quicker to get the bus if you're only going one or two stops on each line let the station down, which is why with regret it only deserves a three-star rating.

In one word, just not good enough for how much they ask...Last time I jumped on the bus I had to come to terms with two things; A. the journey now costs £2!!!!!!!!!!! B. you can't even buy the ticket from the driver anymore!!!!! It just doesn't make sense, raise the price, cut the service!!! Next thing I know is that the other day they have shut the half of one of the infamous London underground lines and the bus which is ment to be running 24/7 every 10-12mins non stop didn't come even after 42 minutes!!! I do appreciate the fact that London is big and transport therefore is a big task and nothing's ever perfect but I bet you that one day they'll make survey about the fact that London PT upsets and stresses people so often on such a scale that it shortens our lives:)

I agreed to take a black cab from Heathrow terminal number 4 because I was given the impression…read morethat the driver knew where to take me at the address I had given him. After we took the exit to Walthon-on Thames he kept loosing his way and asking for directions. I finally asked him to take me back to the airport so the private cab that usually takes me to this address can pick me up. He agreed to take me back to heathrow but insisted that I pay him the full £70 that he felt I had agreed to. I was happy to pay him for his effort but not the full amount as he was unable to take me to my destination. After I explained this to him he stopped the cab in the middle of the M25 freeway and shouted at me, intimidated me and accused me of breaking the law. I had no choice but to listed to his aggression and intimidation while he drove me to walton. After about half an hour of listening to his abuse and allegations, I called my friend for directions to her home. He yelled at her on the phone as well and lost his temper while he kept driving around in circles. After an hour of bearing with his temper we asked that he stop the cab at the Aston Martin dealership near her home. A few seconds after he stopped, my friend arrived at the dealership and picked me up. I had to pay him £70 for being harassed. Please be very careful of London Black Cab drivers as they make me feel very unsafe and this one continued to verbally abuse me throughout the journey. Had my friend not rescued me my life could have been in danger. It seemed he was not interested in getting to my destination but extorting as much from me as he could by intimidating me even if it meant leaving me in the middle of the highway alone.

He made good time. He didn't chat much. We were pretty happy about that. It was early in the morning. We had just gotten off a flight from DC. Helped unload our bags at Stansted and pointed us in the right direction. We made our connection.
