I have been using Eurolines las summer to travel from Sweden to Germany. While the Swedish Contractor (Swebus) offers comfortable Busses, arrives in time and has professional drivers, my experience with German Eurolines is extremely disappointing. On my way back to Sweden, the coach was already more than one hour late. The German headquarters were neither informed about that delay, nor motivated to clear up the situation. The driver decided then, to leave the motorway in Denmark to drop some individuals far from the normal route (obviously some friends or relatives) which resulted in missed connections in Copenhagen. The driver reacted extremely aggressive on my complaint. The headquarters answered my mail with the strange explanation, that a deviation from the motorway is not unusual on this route and will result only in minimal delays. In fact there is a straight motorway form Rodby to Copenhagen, to leave this motorway is extremely time consuming (I drive the same route by car at least five times a year) and the delay was excessive. So my conclusion is, better use the train to Copenhagen; the Swedish connections from Copenhagen are fine. I will never again use Eurolines. read more
