I worked for EuroAdventures for nearly two years, in that time I have to say I met (and had) amazing co-workers and friends from all around the world. EuroAdventures is really a travel company based started off from a former Gonzaga Alumni who studied abroad, and then worked abroad. He saw the need for a company to start offering students trips to all of these amazing destinations in Europe.
EuroAdventures is ironically the first travel company to start in Florence, second to follow was bus2alps, florenceforfun and smart trip. I have to say, EuroAdventures is definitely the biggest party company. Everyone on the trips likes to have an awesome time and really get to know everyone on the trip while bringing them to amazing places. Also, working for EuroAdventures was awesome because we always had the lowest prices because in short, we just want students to travel.
While EA typically only has 11 or 12 employees at a time, everyone is really close to each other. And the students that came on our trips became great friends and ultimately new EA employees. That was my favorite thing, it really becomes a 'family' company with a lot of good friends and great times.
While EA could be labeled as the family/party company, the others (such as bus2alps) are definitely more corporate, way more structured and often have 300+ people on their weekend trips, which can be WAY too much. They do have sleek promotion and get people to sign on to their trips with their staff of over 50+ people, but provide an informal experience as opposed to EA's typical 30-70 groups of students.
Everyone has their own preference for travel companies and like I said, in my two years of working for EA, I met amazing people, was able to offer them personalized walking tours of over 20+ cities and was able to change study abroad students lives in the process of taking them to places they've only dreamed of before. While the tight-knit staff I worked with is now gone and have moved back into the professional world, I still have the utmost respect for EuroAdventures, knowing first hand that they really do give you the best bang for your buck. I understand people have bad experiences with every company, but in this case, everyone should go on an EA trip, either to Prague, The Amalfi Coast, or their killer, "Best of The West" trip.
I can't say enough great things about EA, great times, great people, great owners and quality customer experience. I definitely offered a ton of added bonuses on trips for students too (special hikes, different pub crawls, longer tours, hidden gems etc...) EA definitely has the hook ups in a lot of the cities they travel to.
You definitely owe it to yourself to go on a tour with them if you're studying abroad. read more
