It is quite a drive to get there for me but I did not mind because I liked their consigning process, it is a super cute store, and I have had pretty pleasant experiences with the store staff. It seems to have gone down hill a bit this year. I consigned a good amount of clothes back in April and I usually like to wait a month to 2 months before I try to cash out what I made. They have made several updates to their website this year and as it currently stands, I can't find anywhere on the site to see what I have consigned or what my balance is. Kind of concerning but also not the biggest deal. I used their contact us form on the website to message them about cashing out my balance. I have not heard back yet but I think it has only been maybe 4-5 days since I sent that note. Customer service just feels very slow and lacking now compared to what it used to be.

I appreciate the low prices. As a seller I cannot recommend them. You make sooooo little and they are incredibly picky, which for buyers is great but makes it not always worthwhile taking your stuff in. They sell things for so cheap and then also take such a chunk, as well as do discount days you're almost better off donating. I also found their policies confusing and almost makes it seem like they make it too hard which discourages consignors. TLDR great to buy from, not to sell to

She was very apologetic and said she will address concerns at a company meeting. This spoke volumes to me. I was very impressed with the phone call and I believe things will improve. Today I received a very nice note from the owner. Because of this excellent response to a review I placed earlier, I am adding a star to the review, and I am looking forward to visiting this store again when I am back in Michigan. I feel that it is run with professionalism and care. Thank you for calling me and sending the lovely note! It's small businesses like this that make Yelping fun! The pieces were mostly fall and cooler weather items (sweaters, jeans, etc.), but they did have some dresses and summer clothes still on the sale rack. I especially loved all the jewelry - they had a nice variety of sparkly bracelets and necklaces that I really loved. I would say this shop is a bit higher end than I typically find myself in, but it was fun to check out and I'd stop in again to see what they have in stock the next time I'm in the area.

I don't usually frequent gift stores and if so it's usually rather sporadic in an admittedly un-loyal form. However, I have probably bought more gifts for friends, family, and other acquaintances here than any other store. This is the place to go folks if you have no idea what to get someone! They are not just a gift store but a gallery, so thank you for supporting your artists of the world. They offer unique ceramic pieces and jewelry. If you want to find some snarky, witty cards this is also the place. The owners are super friendly and they have almost always had a quick or long chat with me. Honestly, I like to just stalk in the background of shops and speak under my breath when greeted with a hello (introvert) but they are super friendly and sometimes give some fun background story about some of the items in the store. Gift wrapping available also for free!

I was happy to see a lot of really fun cards upon first entering YT Galleria. I have a collection of cards at home and love being able to brighten someone's day by sending them out. They have cards at YT Galleria I hadn't seen before, which was fun. They range from beautiful blank cards to cheeky and more serious messages. They also have lots of great gift ideas, including a whole collection of prayer candles featuring some "patron saints" like Lizzo, Beyonce, and even Harry Potter. I've only ever seen a few of these locally so it was fun to see a large selection at one place. The shop also has a good selection of kids' items like books, games, puzzles, and some toys. I will definitely keep it in mind as many of my friends have young kids. There were also some pottery pieces that I assume must be locally made. They were beautiful but not really my style. One half of the store is all apparel, which was also not my style, but I saw some people checking out the clothing. I personally felt that the clothing was for a much older female audience. Nothing wrong with that of course, just an observation. I think YT Galleria is a great place to look for gifts, and I love to support local businesses as much as I can. I wish I could give a full five star review but I was completely ignored by the two employees working there during my visit. Since there were only a few other guests in the store at the time, I think a nice "Hello, let us know if we can help you find anything," would have been welcoming and would've encouraged me to stay longer. I browsed for a bit and saw some items that I may buy in the future but didn't really feel that welcomed. I truly believe that great customer service can go a long way, so it was a little disappointing that I wasn't even greeted when I came in the door. I look forward to my next visit to YT Galleria and hope it will be a five star experience!
