Beş Bıçak Steakhosue is a meart heaven founded by 5 tough young men. The venue is located very far from us and center of Istanbul. When we asked the reason of this they told us there are not any venue in this region with a right taste and quality and that region needs a qualified venue. They have preferred to become the biggest in a small area instead of becoming a small option in a big region. The venue has been designed exactly as steakhouse concept. The inside area was very chic. They have a wooden bull head work with tide effect on the ceiling which we have not seen like that before. Dry aged meats were demonstrating in a nice fridge. Grill section was in a visible area but they do not bother you in sitting area. You can easily watch the how they cook the meats. We tried a lot of kinds as small portions on the evening of we went. Starters and warm starters; Zahter salad: It was a salad kind that we have never met in any steakhouse before. Its taste was balanced nicely. It was successful and very matching with the meats. We completly finished the salad plates. Smoked beef with cheddar sauce: They are preparing in a hot pot in front of you. Thanks to the taste of cheddar cheese we cleaned up our plates. They should decrease only the level of salt. B&B sausage with halloumi: The sausage prepared by themselves was delicious. Grilled oyster mushroom: It is a common taste for many steakhouses. They cooked it in a juicy and tasty way in here. It was the best one among the we have eaten before. As main course; Lokum: It was very soft like its name. We finished it in a short time. B&B Beef Special: They were the meats like döner cooked very shortly in the grill. Thin cut meat lovers will definetly love it. Dry aged entrecote: It was the most successful meat kind among serving ones. Its consistency and fattiness was superb. It should become the first choice. B&B Lamb Special: Grilled back meat of lamb are slicing and braising with fat in hot casserole. We loved the presentation and the taste as lamb lovers. Lamb Shoulder Tandoori: #tandooriislife. Its taste and consistency were perfect. We totally cleaned up it. You must watch the moment of extracting the bones from meat. B&B Burger: Its fattiness, taste of the meat, made from minced meat without sinewy, its breas and its sides. It was a wonderful burger with its everything. We ate local pistachio flaky pastry with icecream as dessert. Its taste was successful but it should be harder. It was softened a bit because of icecream. If they serve the icecream in a seperate cup it would be better. Service was successful, prices were affordable, ambiance was nice and also taste was good. If its location is appropriate for you there is no reason not to visit here. Do not miss their signature products starting with B&B.

The location is amazing and the style of this restaurant is outdoor seating. My husband and I arrived here and was put on the waiting list. We were seated about 20 minutes later which was pretty quick for a very busy night. I ordered the lokum burger and my husband ordered the nusr_et burger. We shared half of each of our burger and both burgers were delicious! I was truly impressed with the quality of meat. The meat and the flavor was amazing! My favorite was Lokum burger but both were lovely. The burgers came with a handful of fries and that also was delicious. It was seasoned well and it had the perfect amount of crunch. For dessert we ordered the baklava dessert which has vanilla ice cream inside. The server came and did a mini show on inserting the vanilla ice cream inside the baklava which was pretty interesting. The dessert was good and hit the spot. The service here is top-notch. We had a friendly waiter who made sure my husband and I were catered well. This part of the city is usually not frequented by tourists like us but the Sheraton was the only…read morehotel available during our layover in Istanbul and the front desk directed us towards the mall (Galleria) for possible food options. Since the weather was gorgeous outside, we decided to experiment with the outside dining options. Some chain restaurants along the road stood out as usual suspects but I wanted my friend, who was visiting Istanbul for the first time, to have a rather more authentic dining experience. Zeybe is the new kid on the block, which was founded by the frustration of its owner with the dry-aged beef phenomenon that's been apparently going in Istanbul pioneered by the likes of Nusr-et and Gunaydin restaurants. Zeybe's claim is that this process is too automated (e.g. Cargill) and creates more of a fast-food taste (Yuck!) that lacks flavor. In contrast, Zeybe uses a more prolonged and natural process of marinating their meats prior to grilling them. After getting a crash course in Meatology 101, we asked our waiter Cafer for tips. He suggested we start with the Çoban Salata and then choose a meat of our liking. I went with the Dana Pirzola (Beef Chops), which is usually neglected by its cousin Lamb Chops in the States. My friend wanted to try as many dishes as possible so she went with a small portion of Döner and Zeybe Köfte. Our waiter recommended that we try the Pear Juice (!) but it was a bit too adventurous for me. After we took our first bite, my friend and I exchanged smiles indicating that this was the real deal. The meat was so flavorful yet really tender. I thought the spinach puree was a bit too heavy for my taste but the baked potate was wonderful. My friend really liked her Döner but said that the Köfte was a little bit on the salty side. Overall, I think the meal was a big success; we really enjoyed the large outdoor seating area and the ambiance. Our waiter brought us some Pear Juice to try at the end which was a nice gesture. We walked back to our hotel satisfied with a belly full of delicious meat.
