Located in a peaceful little neighborhood by the Naschmarkt, Apadana has both indoor and al fresco dining. Since I was a little jetlagged, I decided to sit in the cozy, classy interior.
The staff are super friendly, and welcomed me with true Iranian hospitality. This place is super authentic, and a favorite of the local diaspora. A family nearby me was celebrating a birthday, singing tavalodet mobarak to a sweet little boy who was grinning at his huge chocolate cake. The place is polished and beautiful, but grounded in its permanence. I ordered kabob and doogh, and they were both absolutely delicious. My kabob was served on a gorgeous, hot bed of naan, and everything was incredibly fresh. I had an incredible experience at Apadana, and a taste of home. Thank you so much for such a lovely evening!
