First off, there was lot of communication ahead of time regarding things I should have on hand at home for afterward, list of recommended foods, and the financial cost that I would be responsible of on the day of the surgery. Everyone I interacted with was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The only annoying this is that the majority of the first hour of your appointment is just spent sitting in the waiting room waiting for the relaxing medication to work. I wish they could give this to you ahead of time, although I'm sure it has something to do with their pharmaceutical license. Dr. Dickinson and his assistant were both kind and personable. They spoke to me about what they would and were doing in clear, non-jargon language so I could understand. They answered my questions patiently and I never felt intimidated at all. They also let me listen to listen to a podcast during the procedure to help me pass the time and take my mind off of it. The assistant followed up with me the following day to see how I was doing and to answer and additional questions that had come up overnight. I called the office over the weekend after my procedure because I had some questions and was very quickly connected with the doctor. I didn't have to leave my number, a message wasn't relayed to me... I spoke directly to the doctor and he was very kind, patiently explained what was going on (while also acknowledging that it wasn't pleasant), and generally asked how I was. Very impressed! I had my first follow up appointment yesterday to get my stitches out. It was a quick and painless process. The technician was kind and personable and gave me very clear instructions about follow up. She also was great about my questions. I didn't see the doctor yesterday because he was in surgery, but I was assured that everything looked normal. My next appointment is in 5 weeks, but I was told that I could call and schedule an earlier appointment if I liked. During yesterday's appointment, I briefly mentioned that I was hoping to put off my second procedure (yes, I'm lucky enough that I get to do this again) until next year due to insurance reasons. I was quickly reassured that this is something that many people do, and that the doctor would connect with me about this next time. Since recession is generally something that happens slowly over time, you also have some flexibility in treating it. One last note: the office seems to be conservative about their pain management policy -- I was instructed to take Tylenol and Advil to manage my pain. It seemed like I probably could have gotten something stronger afterward if I had pushed for it, but I appreciated their efforts to avoid anything stronger in most cases. All in all, you're probably in for some discomfort if you're coming in for a procedure at this office (due to the nature of their services), but the staff certainly works to make it all as pleasant as possible. Between her and Dr. Dickinson, I learned more about what's going on in my mouth than I had from twenty years of dental treatment. Moreover, they were very sensitive with my medical insurance situation. I felt taken care of and now my teeth and gums are healthy again. I highly recommend Dr. Dickinson!

They said yes, but did not tell me the were an 'out of network' dentist. I received a large bill because I had already met my limit for 'out of network' but I still had coverage for 'in network dentists'. I sent a letter saying that since they did not inform me before I had services that they were an out of network dentist that a fair settlement would be to charge me what I would have paid to a dentist who was in network. Their reply was - too bad it is my responsibility to know my policy????? I do know my coverage but they omitted an important part of information!!! Unfair and misleading!!

It's really hard to find a good dentist who has not only experience, but also talent. I went to Dr…read more Thomas after hearing great things from friends and family members who have been loyal to him for years. I also had four very painful, fully impacted wisdom teeth. My previous dentists insisted that I let them grow in, despite the pain they caused me. My teeth even started to shift and even build up plaque. After taking new, crystal clear x-rays, Dr. Thomas promptly scheduled an appointment to remove them. Unlike my last dentist, he used state of the art technology and showed me very detailed pictures of my horrendous wisdom teeth! Dr. Thomas's communication was great. He was very accommodating and I fell like I am finally being taken care of after years of bad dentistry! What I really liked is that his x-ray technology uses minimal radiation (I think none, I forget), which is very important to me. My procedure went flawlessly (and keep in mind that taking out four fully impacted wisdom teeth is not easy to do!). Not only that, but I recovered FULLY in two days. I was eating hard foods by the third day! I don't know why anyone would say enough bad things about this dentist; I can't say enough good things! It was such a change to have a dentist who not only cares about your teeth, but your well-being! Give Dr. Thomas a shot, you will NOT regret it. Great teeth is not a lie!

When I left I felt anything but comfortable, therefore, I went for a second opinion (Min in Vacaville - first class Endodontist that I can highly recommend!!!) Fisher wanted to cut the end of a root of a tooth that is not even worth saving - his procedure would have only cost me money and would have left me with a higher bill still a little further down the road. How glad am I to have listened to my inner voice that advised me to go for a second opinion!
