Can't believe no-one has reviewed this place yet! If you are fed up of buying your wine from the faceless threshers/ majestics/ (dare i say it ) tescos then this is the place for you! good range of wines in the £10-£15 range- slightly disappointing above this level, lots of cheaper ones too. Do a small range of pates and other bits for with your wine. What is great about this store is the guys who run it- always on hand with advice and not too 'snobby oenophiles' with it! Best for french wine, but even have a few bottles of english stuff- havn't tried them yet (they are mostly white, and i am more of a red girl myself!) read more

What a great wine shop! The owner is superb, friendly and always willing to offer his advice on wines for any budget - he never disappoints! Don't waste your money buying wine from Waitrose or any off-licence while this gem has its doors open. read more
