I don't even remember how I came across Ryan & Denise's Instagram, but I am SO GLAD that I did! A lot of the pages I had come across had a portfolio full of photos that were edited with either a yellow tinge or overly contrasted. I know nothing about the right verbiage to describe their editing style (lol), but it aligned with what I was looking for - light and airy/whimsical, while still remaining true to color. When I reached out to them, they set up a Skype call that my husband, my parents, and I joined. From the start, both Ryan and Denise were so personable and sincere! Going into our own marriage while working with a married couple/photographers was so fun! You can tell that they have so much love and passion for each other and their family, which made us all feel so comfortable! As we got to know each other on the call, we felt so solidified in our decision to work with them. They are confident, organized, detail-oriented, and very talented! They photographed us for an engagement shoot, which I would highly recommend! This helped us become familiar with different poses and also simply validated our decision to work with them even more. They worked out a whole timeline of our wedding day, from start to finish, and which pictures we would capture when. Their initiative and organization truly alleviated a lot of my stress! On our big day, the bridal party was running a tad late to the venue, and we also had a little snafu with the flower delivery (couldn't find where the bouquets were dropped off). Despite these events, Ryan and Denise were able to keep us on track with our timeline. When it came time for Ryan and Denise to review the photos from our big day, they reach out to immediately notify us that they realized we missed something on our "shot-list". Amidst all the chaos of running late and whatnot, we forgot to photograph the ladies in a group picture. I did, however, still get all the individual shots as the bride with each bridesmaid and my mom. We appreciated them being forthcoming and "owning" the mistake and sincerely apologizing for it. We purchased the wedding album package that includes 30 pages/15 spreads, and they added 6 more pages/3 more spreads as a little gift to us - such a nice touch and kind gesture! All in all, we are so grateful for this duo. Thank you, both, for capturing the best day of our lives!!

Ryan and Denise were incredibly easy to communicate with through the planning process and were so helpful in giving tips for our day - including suggestions for timing based on best lighting and even sharing multiple online galleries as we considered a few locations. They made us feel so comfortable during our photos and made the entire day even more fun. They even helped us plan and capture a first look! The online gallery they sent us is absolutely gorgeous and was easy to share with loved ones and then print from - we already have photos all over our home. We are so happy we chose them!

Family shoots are not the easiest ventures. With kiddos running around and occasionally being uncooperative, Buck is patient and really takes the time to make everyone comfortable. We've never felt rushed or on the clock with him. That is a unique quality in a photographer and has made for some great experiences! We originally synced up with him to start documenting our little one's growth. From 3 months old and onward, he's given our family the precious gift of immortalized memories. With reasonable pricing, a quick turnaround, and stellar customer service, hiring Buck to photograph your family/event is a no-brainer. PS. When Back to the Future becomes a reality, I'll travel in time and hire Buck as our wedding photographer. Wedding advice #1 - don't skimp on this piece. I wanted a very laid-back shoot with more of a lifestyle feel than super posed, and that's exactly what Buck delivered. We did the shoot in our home with a mixture of shots in our bedroom, the nursery, and some outdoor photos and I have to tell you that at 8 months pregnant it was pretty difficult for me to feel beautiful at that point, but after getting the photos back I felt more beautiful and feminine than I ever have. We knew after that experience with Buck that we also wanted him to do our newborn shoot when our daughter Charlotte was born. We wanted it to be the same kind of laid back feel and again did it in our home. This time he brought his wife with him to help with the "styling" and posing of our baby girl. Let.me.tell.you. She is a freaking baby whisperer. She showed us a technique for getting Charlotte to sleep that we still use today 7 months later! Once again, the photos turned out absolutely beautifully and will be photos that I will cherish forever. Buck is now our family photographer. I don't think we will ever use anyone else - I'm actually planning on reaching out to him again in the next few weeks to book Charlotte's one year photos and our Christmas photos (Buck, if you're reading this, be expecting my call shortly!). We can't recommend him enough, he is so incredibly talented and has a way of making you comfortable and relaxed through the whole process - something that I think is the secret ingredient for being a stellar photographer.

He has a way of making you feel like you have been friends for years and making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He hypes you up the whole time to get authentic smiles and reactions. I was referred to Jonathan from our wedding vendor. I lived in Iowa and was planning a wedding in Arizona, so I welcomed all recommendations when it came to vendors, and I was not disappointed. Jonathan spent a good half hour on the phone with me before I even booked with him explaining to me his process, his goals on your big day and I could immediately tell he loved what he did and was so genuine. I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan three times before our actual wedding date. He did our engagement session and that was when I knew I made the right choice. He was open to all suggestions and provided me with me ideas, as well. The next time I got to see Jonathan was when we realized that my bachelorette party was in the same place, he had family. He came and took photos of my bachelorette party; he took time out of his vacation with his family to come capture such an amazing trip. I 10/10 recommend hiring Jonathan to take pictures of your bachelorette party. ALL THE GIRLS loved him and again he made everyone feel so comfortable and gorgeous. He is so fun loving, and we wanted to him just hang out with us the rest of the trip! He then came and took pictures at our rehearsal dinner and once again just WOWED all our friends and family! And then came the wedding day... once again Jonathan did not disappoint. He put up with all my bridal parties' crazy ideas and was happy to make all our visions come true. Jonathan once again made us feel like the only two people in the room, but also did not interfere with any of our moments. I cannot say enough amazing things about this super talented photographer, and you will not be disappointed with hiring Jonathan to capture your big moments.

He had a great energy on our first meeting with him and totally flexible about our plans for engagement and wedding venues. We are totally jealous that he is so flexible to be able to travel for work and play, but he gets amazing photos nationwide. Unseasonably warm day in Dallas, he's on it. Triple digits in Phoenix after rescheduling due to the pandemic, he's on it. I'm sure an active hurricane or tornado would have been more unpleasant working conditions, but you wouldn't have known it from watching Jonathan work. I don't blame anyone who didn't want to deal with those conditions, but it was just another day at the office for him. He is likely a kinder and more generous person than he even is a world-class photographer, but we're here for the "pics or it didn't happen crowd". You're paying for a photographer but you basically get a best friend for the biggest day of your life for free. No headaches, super responsive, he gets photos back to you when he says he will and he worked nonstop on our wedding day. Like bro, I am so tired, you must be exhausted, nope like an energizer Bunny with a couple of cameras. Definitely the MVP of our wedding and we are so grateful. I wish I needed more things photographed just because he was that wonderful to work with. I am sure lots of people can advertise that they will give you a set of pictures that look nice, but I can't imagine anyone else doing so while essentially being part of the bridal party and a lifelong friend in the process.
