The website immediately established trust, booking was a breeze, and I received a call very soon after from Duane's amazing assistant, Becca. Becca put me at ease and she did a great job communicating all of the information I would need to know. Then, I received a really informative guide via email with really great tips on what to wear/what not to wear. Both Becca and Duane were really communicative leading up to my session and this really helped given I was quite nervous. On the day of the shoot, I arrived at the studio which has an amazing vibe and Duane instantly put me at ease not only with his clear skill as a headshot photographer but also with his amazing dad jokes. (lol) Duane led me through many different steps to identify how I wanted my final photos to look and he spent time meticulously setting the stage. After each shot, I was able to see the photos as we went and Duane was super patient in making super tiny adjustments to various details in order to get the perfect shot. When I received my final professionally retouched prints, I was AWESTRUCK. I have never before loved pictures of myself more in my entire life. A headshot is a chance to make an amazing first impression and I cannot thank Duane and his team enough for ensuring I came away with photos I was in love with.

I've worked with many photographers in the past and I've never had a bad experience. Nor did I felt…read morethis strongly to spend my time and write a bad review, but I felt that other consumers deserve to hear my experience. His pictures and prices are good? Yes, but be prepare to deal with his curt and unprofessional responses to your questions, being rushed through a photo session, and forgetting that he even made an appointment with you. First off, we made an appointment through email, then on the morning of the photo shoot, I sent several texts, of which none did he replied until I called. His excuse was that he was in the middle of another photo session. Even when he responded, he made many excuses for not making the appointment until I showed him proof, even then he gave no apology. In the end he chose to keep the appointment; it was a relieve because I would not have time to book a session with another photographer in time for the holiday if he had refused. When we arrived, the photo shoot was incredibly rushed. It was a family portrait, we had a 78 year old woman with us, and all of us pretty much had to run from place to place on a rocky trail around the nature park. He even dared to tell us, "I'm trying to finish this as fast as possible" at the beginning of the photo session. It was so rushed to the fact that he even forgot to ask for his photo session fee until I spoke up about it. Even after all of this, I did not wanted to leave a bad review since I admit the pictures came out well until today I asked for a better quality file for ONE picture. He refused because he only allows us to use his service to print. In one aspect, it's understandable for his refusal, but his response was curt and very rude. So I emailed back listing my displeasure about my experience, from which he takes it as a taunt and responded back again in a rude manner, and THAT was my last straw. I will gladly forward the conversation to anyone who would like to see it Words of advice: for a photographer to be competitive, it's more than just taking good pictures but also provide good customer service and treat your customer with respect. Even if you don't agree with what they're asking, you can still respond in a kind manner. Secondly, consumers have the right to voice displeasure about their experience, and it not being considered a "threat".

THE BEST photographer, hands down…read more We have utilized many photographers in our over 20 years of business who have been good, however, we ran into the same issues; they became too busy, over-promised/under-delivered, failed to show up on time, didn't have their equipment charged, (even forgot equipment) or gave us their turn around timeline of when to expect the photos/videos back and then disappeared and failed to meet their own deadline to where we were chasing them down. Let's face it, our clients look to us to stay timely to sell their homes and it truly is not their issue if the photographer whom we hire, fails. It is our responsibility to ensure our seller's homes are presented beautifully and put on the market as agreed. With Terry Mag Photography, I have NEVER had issues. We have been working with Terry Mag Photography for several years now, and he consistently offers quality stills, Matterport, Drone video and Drone video walk-throughs. Terry has an eye for the subjects he photographs and not only delivers the best angles/features of a house but offers artistic options which allow the viewer to get a better sense of the home. He is punctual, professional, always prepared, and delivers his photos/drone or videos ON TIME and when promised. It is truly evident that Terry loves what he does as it shows in the quality photography he produces. Realtors/Consumers - if you have not already tried Terry Mag Photography, you may be missing out. Without a doubt, I know his photos have helped us sell our client's homes for TOP Dollar and in the quickest amount of time - especially when COVID first began, his video tours made a HUGE difference when consumers were not viewing homes. Can't say enough good things - simply put, Terry is exceptional.

I wanted a very laid-back shoot with more of a lifestyle feel than super posed, and that's exactly what Buck delivered. We did the shoot in our home with a mixture of shots in our bedroom, the nursery, and some outdoor photos and I have to tell you that at 8 months pregnant it was pretty difficult for me to feel beautiful at that point, but after getting the photos back I felt more beautiful and feminine than I ever have. We knew after that experience with Buck that we also wanted him to do our newborn shoot when our daughter Charlotte was born. We wanted it to be the same kind of laid back feel and again did it in our home. This time he brought his wife with him to help with the "styling" and posing of our baby girl. Let.me.tell.you. She is a freaking baby whisperer. She showed us a technique for getting Charlotte to sleep that we still use today 7 months later! Once again, the photos turned out absolutely beautifully and will be photos that I will cherish forever. Buck is now our family photographer. I don't think we will ever use anyone else - I'm actually planning on reaching out to him again in the next few weeks to book Charlotte's one year photos and our Christmas photos (Buck, if you're reading this, be expecting my call shortly!). We can't recommend him enough, he is so incredibly talented and has a way of making you comfortable and relaxed through the whole process - something that I think is the secret ingredient for being a stellar photographer.
