Stay away from this place. I bought a sofa here a year ago. When it was delivered it looked different from what I had picked out. I had taken photos of the model in the store and when compared to what I received, it was not the same. The decorators who had helped me came to my house and agreed with me. Nevertheless, after many letters and phone calls and even an appeal to our local consumer affairs bureau, the management in the store and the executives in the headquarters office refused to exchange the sofa. They made some ridiculous offers to put less filling in the cushions (which would have left gaping fabric) and suggested I turn the cushions around daily so they would "settle" and look more like what I had ordered. (Everyone has time and energy to turn sofa cushions around daily, don't they?) I was at the point of taking them to small claims court when my mother became very ill and my attention was concentrated on her for several months. Rather than resume trying to communicate with an obviously consumer-unfriendly business, I have since donated the sofa to Habitat for Humanity and purchased a new sofa from a different furniture store (NOT an Ethan Allen store). I received exactly what I ordered with no problem. I also ordered 2 chairs and an ottoman that I am very happy with. This was an expensive lesson for me, but with the additional furniture I ordered from the new store, it was an expensive loss for Ethan Allen as well. Don't take a chance with them.
