I've had a chiropractic team for many years & believe in the health benefits of being adjusted. This adjustment was very different than anything else I had experienced. I rested for a few minutes afterwards and when I sat up, I could see! I was amazed. I had been having trouble reading small print and seeing other things, but just assumed it was the aging process. This clearing of my sight happens EVERY time. I always know when things start getting blurry, that it's time to go see Dr. Alvord. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience.

Shoulder replacement was not an option that I was ready for. I was increasing my Acetaminophen intake and as we all know this is not a path I wanted to go down. I started seeing Amy for acupuncture treatments as an option for pain relief that I had not tried before. Within 3 visits I was starting to have a decrease in my pain. Over time the pain has significantly decreased disappeared no but it was dramatic improvement I could have been happier with her work. She is so kind and amazing and professional. I would recommend her and her staff to any one seeking pain relief. Eric L.

I love a good massage (like most), and I've had my share of mediocre body work. Simon is exceptionally and extraordinarily skilled. His acupuncture healed my neuropathy and his intuition with pressure, rhythm, and flow is only surpassed by his therapeutic dedication and lovely personality! He has a way to make one relaxed and authentically cared for. My recommendation is beyond measure and I whole heartedly endorse his expertise and consider him to be amongst the most accomplished practitioners and it's so easy to rave about him because he's spectacular.

I highly recommend Shiatsu, but I ESPECIALLY highly recommend Shiatsu done by Simon Hochuli! Below…read moreis a detailed answer elaborating why Shiatsu is great, & why Simon is great: I have tried chiropractors, physical therapy, and other types of massages, but Shiatsu has shown to be the most effective and lasting treatment for the type of issues I have. Particularly a pinched nerve in my lower back which causes frequent discomfort, and then a weak shoulder that often gets sore. After my initial Shiatsu session with Simon, I was sore, but the next day I felt amazing! And since my last session about a week ago, I still feel great - I highly recommend you try. Adding to that, Simon is very easy to work with. It's kind of a personal thing, having someone massage you, but Simon makes it both relaxing and creates a comfortable and calm environment. Sometimes we converse, sometimes we don't, but I never feel pressured to talk. He's also knowledgable AND patient with questions. When I first visited him, I had many questions that he happily answered with detail. I still have questions when I go to him, and he still has this kind & informative demeanor. Hope that gives ya enough info if you're wondering about visiting. I recommend Upright Shiatsu to everyone, and would choose it over a Chiropractor any day. I mean PLUS... a Chiropractor is more expensive AND sessions are like 10x shorter! P.S. You can also give gift cards to friends and family, which I have done!

Call it divine intervention, spooky coincidence... this was the first place I found with the first open appointment. Dr Chris is personable and takes time to explain things thoroughly, but calmly. The neck pain I've always written off as stress since my teenage years? Apparently that's not normal. I learned a lot in my consult, information needing my immediate attention and action. We put together a treatment plan, milestones and goals included, with an understanding that if things haven't improved in 3 months, we'd need a neck MRI. They connected with my insurance to find out what would be covered, and what I can expect to pay. No surprise billing. I'm starting to feel better, pain is reducing, mobility improving, excited to see where my X rays are in a few weeks. So far so good. Michelle at the front desk learns your name and greets you every visit. This office genuinely CARES. They're in the healing business, not just chiropractic adjustments and PT, and I'm so thankful.
