What he graduated from the program he was sitting and lying down in his place every time we asked. Before training he refused to go on walks because of his intense fear. Now, we take him on walks around the neighborhood every day. Not only was Fabian effective but he has repeatedly offered to meet up with us to work with Bear for no extra charge. Every two weeks we also can attend alumni classes on a Saturday at local parks which helps Bear keep up his training. I can't say enough about how great of a job Fabian did. He saved Bear's life. Her instagram displayed great skills and a verity of breeds. We met with Julie and toured where the dogs would stay for training. After feeling at peace we decided to proceed. When we got them back they went from completely untrained to trained in every way! Door manners, in the car, on the leash, and other basic commands, you name it! Another local trainer who doesn't handle aggression referred us to Cheryl at Last Paw who met with us for an evaluation session within a couple of days. Cheryl quickly identified 'in-house' manipulative behaviour that Tessa was doing to control us and showed us how easy it was to begin to modify. We have booked several follow-up sessions to work on the dog-on-dog issues. Cheryl is an animal psychology professional, and I do not use this term lightly. If you meet her you will quickly learn how little most of us understand about simple bad habits in owner behaviour that enable all the undesirable habits in our dogs. She is very gentle but assertive and had our Tessa eating out of her hand in minutes. My wife asked her to move in with us. We look forward to our next session in a couple of days.
