This review is for the campus in Tempe, AZ. I cannot stress how remarkable this program was. I…read morehighly recommend it for career changers and working professionals who need to make the transition sooner rather than later. While it helps to have some natural study skills or to be reasonably good at tests, I hadn't been to in person classes in more than a decade and was concerned about being an older student. My concerns were completely put at ease from day one. Every instructor was both friendly and incredibly capable, knowing the content and the field with a depth of knowledge that only comes from years--and often decades--in the field. While the content was understandably intense and the volume of knowledge overwhelming, the course leaders were constantly checking in and offered extra instruction, guidance and support as needed. The skills staff brought youthful enthusiasm as well as a wealth of knowledge, too, and while that was the area I was most concerned about, we had structured time to practice until I felt 100% at ease. Instructors and staff were easily accessible, patient to a fault and always willing to help. As a career educator myself, I felt impressed by their ability to teach for hours and then stick around to help with skills practice and other needs as they arose. Finally, the reason I initially picked the program proved powerful: the all-inclusive nature. I have ADD and knew I might struggle to follow through on things like registering for the NREMT, or to create the appropriate accounts or know how to focus on which study aids. I also hate cooking and preferred to pick a program that included food so that this subject would be taken care of ahead of time. If you are truly focused on a quick turn around from education to job, this is the best option. Food was included, we got incredible discounts on local hotels nearby, PocketPrep was a lifesaver as I prepped, and every step was not only laid out for us, but we were taken through them together. I cannot emphasize the holistic nature of the program enough. I paid more versus other programs for "white glove service," and I got it--right down to the provided voucher to take the NREMT test itself. Thankfully, I passed the NREMT in 70 questions on the first try. If you can keep up for two weeks of your life and cut out all distractions, then the Unitek EMT Boot Camp is for you.

I love both of these stylish and useful items! It is a smooth process from booking to completing your session. After On line, you select your craft, your customization (if you choose to) work date and payment. She preps everything ahead of time so you just need to show up. Lettering, paints, tools, a clean workspace is ready for you. We had fun working alongside others who were working on their own projects. After a couple of hours, we left with a sanded, painted/stained game board complete with pieces and a ready to use customized pillow case. It really was a fun, inspiring time out! Within 2 weeks of the first conversation with Deborah, I was enrolled (red flag) I didn't realize it then but their sales pitch was the most predatory I've ever heard. Compliments like "I can already tell you'd be good at this", "Sounds like you've got a good ear", things like that. They pushed their alumni's recording credits a lot, it was a primary reason I decided to go. One of their students helped mix a record I really love, and they preyed on that so hard. What they didn't say is that the vast majority of graduates don't wind up staying in audio long. Most of the people I went to class with are not actively working in audio, and many said that they left CRAS underprepared and miserable. Their approach is to force feed the information as quick as possible, using staff and teachers that epitomize ego and callous indifference. They do not care if you graduate. They do not care if you're struggling. They do not care about their students, period. It's a power hungry organization stuck in their old ways. They can kick you out for missing a single day of class, and thats exactly what they did to me. While some instructors were truly fantastic, for every good one there were 4 bad ones at least. And when you finally did ask for help, they'd either miss the point entirely or completely ignore you. I urge the school to be better. For all the resources you guys have, you are the furthest thing from teachers, even instructor is a compliment. I didn't walk away from CRAS with anything but massive student debt and severe depression. Kirt, Brock, and all other CRAS staff, be better.

I can't express how amazing this school is. I just completed my EMT class today and am scheduled to…read moretake the NREMT on Monday, and I couldn't feel more prepared. I want to highlight three things this school does exceptionally well compared to other accelerated EMT programs. First: the value. This is by far the most affordable way to get your EMT certification. Tuition was $1,800 total, with only a $100 deposit required to secure your start date. The remaining balance (about $1,700) is due shortly before class begins, and they offer flexible payment options, including installments. Compared to another 2-week bootcamp in the same area--which runs 14 straight 12-hour days and costs nearly triple with a much higher deposit--the value here is unmatched. I also chose the hybrid learning option, which was a huge plus since I live over an hour from Tempe. Being able to complete much of the course from home was incredibly convenient. Even as an online student, Andrew was highly engaged--constantly checking the chat, answering questions, and making sure we felt included. For the amount of material covered in such a short, efficient timeframe, the value of this program is undeniable. Second: the structure, skills, and assignments. The course is designed in a way that really prepares you for the realities of being an EMT. The first two weeks focus on covering textbook material through well-organized, easy-to-understand slides, and the third week is dedicated to hands-on skills and final exam prep. It's an excellent structure. Andrew does a great job condensing complex material, often adding real-life anecdotes from his field experience, which made the content more engaging and memorable. A common criticism is that not everything from the textbook is included in the slides, but I feel thats a bit misleading--and clearly explained on day one. He emphasizes that you must read the book to fully understand the material. Nothing is truly "left out"--it's all in the textbook, and students are expected to study outside of class. That's simply the reality of accelerated programs. You can't cover a 2,000-page textbook in two weeks. The schedule (8:00-5:30, Monday-Friday) is designed to leave evenings and weekends open for individual study, which I found extremely effective. Unlike other bootcamps that cram everything into nonstop group review, this approach lets you focus on your personal weak areas. For me, having prior knowledge in anatomy and medical topics allowed me to spend more time on EMT-specific scenarios, which made a huge difference in my success. Overall, the coursework was challenging in the best way and did an excellent job preparing us. Third: the instructors and their dedication. Andrew and Andrea bring nearly four decades of combined experience in EMS and paramedicine. Andrew has extensive field experience as a paramedic and seems to have an answer for every EMS-related question. Andrea has a background as an in-hospital paramedic and experience with the medical school application process, which was incredibly helpful for someone like me who hopes to become a doctor. Both are extremely approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their students' success. There was never a moment where I felt uncomfortable asking questions or seeking help. Because of their teaching, students were well-prepared for skills testing and moved through them efficiently. Andrew also shared valuable test-taking strategies and advice for both the final exam and the NREMT. In conclusion, If you're looking to get your EMT certification quickly without sacrificing quality or preparation, this is the place to go. PMTC delivers outstanding value, effective instruction, and truly dedicated instructors. I couldn't recommend it more.
