After thinking about getting a facial for months and months and wondering what it would be like, I…read morethought it was time to finally experience it. I was a new Grandma and almost 49 and didn't want to waste another second wondering, so I started researching salons online. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I checked Groupon first. I found some places but they didn't have very good reviews. So I kept searching and found Radiant Skin by Lauren on Yelp. I was a little leery to even get a facial because I have very sensitive skin. Even though I have oily skin it doesn't take too much of a bad product to make the skin peel off of my face like a sunburn. But after seeing all of the 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment with Lauren, almost four weeks ago now. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was SO HAPPY I did! The whole experience was fabulous. Her room was comfortable and clean. She used only organic products that smelled fantastic. She was gentle yet thorough as she was applying and removing the various products to/from my face. And in between the multiple processes, while my face was absorbing the natural goodness of the products and steam, she massaged my calves and feet and then arms and hands. I had no idea that came with the facial. Bonus! All while cocooned in warm fluffy blankets. I stayed awake through the whole thing because of the excitement of what was to come. I loved every minute of it and my face never peeled, just smooth tighter skin. And before I left, I scheduled my next facial, which is in a couple of days. Oh, and I almost forgot, she does a great job on eyebrows too.

I really appreciate business owners who make something like this affordable. It makes giving something a try, less scary. Making an appointment was easy! I was able to make my appointment online, but I could have also done that by phone. This is convenient for people who have questions or just want to make an appointment the old fashioned way. A nice personal touch, for sure! I was able to get an appointment much sooner than I expected. Appointment times are convenient and Danielle, has two Little Lashes locations. I was so excited for my appointment that I was just waiting for it. But I received a reminder and this is great for people who are much busier than I. Communication was easy and professional and clear. I really wanted natural looking lashes. And by that, I meant, I barely wanted much more than I have. I am a lady in my late 40's. I don't need the beautiful butterfly eyelashes than some of the younger ladies wear so nicely. I was worried that lash extensions would look "too much" but Danielle seemed to know exactly what I wanted. And when she was done... WOW!! I couldn't believe how perfect she got them! I really wanted subtle and she did an incredible job! They're soft and even better than I had hoped! She even offered to give them more volume if I decided that I wanted more. I absolutely don't this time - it's so precise for what I hoped for on my first try for lashes. I cannot wait to be a return client!
