I wanted to wait a few days before I posted about my experience with Corrie. I had an event coming up and wanted to find someone quick to do lash extensions for me. What was more important was also someone who seemed to care about keeping my lashes healthy as well. So of course I went to Yelp to search out someone and there was Corrie! I sent her a message on Yelp and she responded within an hour or so. She answered all of my probing questions with no signs of annoyance! That's a big plus! So I booked with her. Let's go over the quick summary: Location: Ventura- in a small shopping center inside Wax Me! salon Parking: ample Price: very affordable; and she even does permanent makeup! Expertise: this girl is certified and displays all of her certification, which I love! Ain't nobody got no time for going to YouTube trained folks who will snatch all your lashes and eyebrows out! Pass on that!!! Do your research people!!!! Hygiene: very clean Ambience: very relaxing music, comfortable pillows for under your knees when lying flat Time: took a little over 2 hrs but that's because I asked her to make a few adjustments Personality: very sweet and does not talk too much when she's doing your lashes (my preference!) All in all, she is legit! I'm actually surprised she has less than 20 reviews! I'm a very tough critic so I'm quite impressed. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time to give you good aftercare instructions. Only downside is she is not open on Fridays and Saturdays so that's a bummer. Otherwise, if you're looking to try someone new in the Ventura area, Corrie is the person to try! read more

I'm new to the Ventura area , having had lash extensions for years in many states - NY - NC- Atlanta - Las Vegas - Arizona- to name just a few . Finding Corrie was truly a blessing - She does a wonderful job ( in spite of my having tiny and fragile lashes ) . She did permanent brows and my life is so much easier. Love the way they look .. In addition to doing excellent work she is energetic and always has a positive attitude - and makes the sessions enjoyable. I highly recommend Corrie for those treatments I've received and look forward to having time to try all her Facial treatments. Very very very happy- A five star person and her work is nothing short of 5 star .. read more

From the moment I walked into her beautiful, relaxing space, I felt at ease. She took the time to assess my skin's needs and customized the treatment perfectly. My skin feels refreshed, glowing, and deeply hydrated. Her professionalism and expertise are on point. I can't wait to book my next appointment. She does permanent makeup TOO!! I have been getting my lashes here for about a year and a half now she is great. I highly recommend her my lashes always last the 2 weeks sometimes even two weeks and a half. I love that my lashes are always looking fresh. She makes a very comfortable and relaxing. I always end up falling asleep. I also did my eyebrows and I love it she takes her time to choose the correct color and make sure that you're comfortable with very little to no pain. Highly recommend five stars! read more

I went to Corrie for my 1st set of lashes years ago and I have not met any other lash tech that provides the quality Corrie does! (And trust me, I've gone to about 6 others and they don't compare) She is so thorough, detailed and gentle. Her room is so relaxing, I fall asleep every time! I'm a week into my current set and my lashes still look fresh, whereas other lash techs would have my lashes almost gone by now. She truly cares for the well being of your lashes and hears exactly what you are looking for! I am extremely satisfied. Go to her and stop wasting your time with any other lash tech, you won't be disappointed. read more

Corrie was so nice I loved everything about this experience my lashes were sooo good got many compliments she gets it !

Corrie has EXCEEDED my expectations. I was a first timer getting my lashes done, and she gave me all the tips and tricks for all of this. She is so friendly, professional, and welcoming. I was scared for my first set of eyelashes, but I was put at ease with her!!! She did an amazing set of classic lashes on me. The fastest 2 hours of my life went by as I jolted my way through a "lash nap". Sorry Corrie! Lol. There has been little fall out so far. It's been 4 days and I've only lost about 5 lashes and they still look brand new. I can't wait to get my fill/new set from her when I come back from Hawaii! She even gives you a little lash shampoo sample that smells AHMAZING!!!! I've been looking for "my lash lady" for about 6 months now and I totally found her!!! read more

I saw Corrie for a single eyebrow Tatoo this year. I was divided on whether I should write this review but felt that I should to benefit others who may be over 45 or 50. If you have had three or more previous tattoos to your eyebrows and are over 50 , you would do best to find a more experienced Tatoo artist. My experience was not a good one . She made them too dark and I was told by two other local artists that they could not correct what she had done unless I had a tattoo removal . This route is not only painful and expensive, it risks you losing all or much of your eyebrow hair. I decided against this and chose to try a spot corrector by SkinMedica. It is called " Even and Correct " . You apply it to your tattoo area every night . This might take awhile but it is better than losing eyebrow hair. The other issue was her numbing or anesthetic cream . It should help diminish the pain. She raved that it worked so well but it did not . I have had this procedure before so I knew what to expect. This never happened to me before that the cream failed to work altogether. She is a nice person but I felt I should warn others who have had a few prior eyebrow tattoos where there maybe some scarring . read more

It was my second time ever getting eyelash extensions and so I was a little nervous about who to go to and if I'd like them. Corrie was so sweet and our whole interaction with each other felt like we had met before or like we were friends already. She took some time to examine my eyelashes to see what type of look my eyelashes could handle. She explained to me how exactly she would going to do my eyelashes and taught me so much about the extensions since it was still a new process to me. She was so nice and I enjoyed my experience and outcome of my lashes way more than the actual lash studio I went to last time! read more

I have always wanted to have my lashes done but terrified because of my real lashes falling out. After looking at so many people who do lashes, I found Corrie and so happy I did! Corrie is one amazing esthetician who loves what she does and it shows through her work. She uses high quality materials and gives you a spoolie after each visit, which is good because you can leave one in your car, purse, home...plus, You don't leave until you're completely happy with your lashes she makes sure you're 100% happy and she guarantees them not many people do that. I have been seeing her weekly maybe about 2 months now and I will never go back to mascara! She does such an amazing job I only go weekly because I love the fresh fullness "volume" I get, but I literally can go weeks without seeing her and my lashes last and still look good!!! I am on week two 1/2 and my lashes are still full and beautiful! Please seek her out, she is so sweet and funny and with your eyes closed for at least an hour she makes the time fly whether you need to talk, or take a nap she's that good!!!! Here are my lashes 2 1/2 weeks out, still looking fabulous!!! Corrie you are amazing and I'm so glad to have found you! read more

Corrie is AMAZING !! i have extreme allergies but still want to be girlie and have beautiful lashes. I reached out to Corrie to ask about the glue she uses and to find out about the lashes themselves. Corrie went into great detail telling me about her own glue concerns and explained that she uses the most sensitive glue available and that her lashes were synthetic not Mink. During the process I was relaxed and very comfortable. Corrie wasnt bothered by my questions and answered everything. We joked, we laughed and we talked. I walked out of there feeling that like I had just met a new friend, not just getting a service. The prices are great and her space SPOTLESS. I will go back again and again. Corrie puts the SERVICE in "customer service" . THANK YOU Corrie... read more
