I just had the WORST experience at Bella on Broad Hair Salon!! I went in for a women's haircut…read morewhich includes wash, cut and style. Because I have somewhere to be tomorrow I wanted to have my hair blown out nicely, I also have thick curly hair I also scheduled a blow dry separately as I know that my hair can be time consuming and I like to make sure I pay for the services I want to receive. When I walked in the hair dresser, motioned over to her chair and at me down without introducing herself, asking my name, or even saying hi to me!! She cut my hair in 2 seconds DRY and then walked me to the desk to pay! When I had politely explained I also paid for a wash and blow dry she was hesitant, but took me back to the chair to wash my hair. She washed my hair in 2 seconds and BARELY dried my hair.. the roots of my hair are still curly as she did NO styling what so ever! She just ran the blow dryer through it. All was said and done within 45 minutes, with my thick hair it is impossible to cut, wash and properly style within that amount of time. I was willing to accept all of this until I heard the price. She charged me $75!!!!! For a 2 second dry cut and NO style. When I inquired why the price was so high it was because she gave me a "blow out". This is absolutely not true. And after walking out spending $100 I will definitely have to go home and redo it as it is not even presentable to go out in public!! I had to immediately put my hair in a ponytail just to leave the salon!! I am absolutely furious and will never be going back here!

It's that really fine stuff that floats about like a baby's hair when the humidly is really low. Anyway, I saw Lisa for the first time a few months ago. We discussed what I was looking for and I said, "NOBODY can make my hair look thicker". She said, "Oh. yes I can". And she did!! I don't hate my hair for the first time in my life. And when I went back for another trim, she didn't disappoint. I still don't have luxurious thick hair by any means. But, the way she finishes the bottom line makes it look as thick as it is. Getting old isn't bad at all. It's just an interesting journey. And Lisa has made my hair look better than at any prior time during my journey. '"..

The receptionists are beyond friendly and they always make reminder calls to keep the business moving efficiently. At first, I was a little taken aback by the open floor plan with chairs, sinks, and hair dryers side by side. But, it makes the whole atmosphere feel friendly and cozy. I love the eggshell blue walls and chandeliers above each chair. The whole room feels rather fancy and I leave feeling just as spiffy. My hairdresser, Kristin, has been cutting my hair for years and I haven't found another with such an amazing talent for shape and color. But in looking around, it seems that the other stylists are just as talented. I mean, you can't have a packed waiting room with poor performance, right? While waiting during a color or foil, I've been offered coffee and water... A nice touch! Overall, bravo... I've been super impressed with the team at Pure Salon!

I don't typically leave bad reviews, but this place was noteworthy in a bad way. I can see why it…read morehas low ratings on Yelp-- the service clearly seems very inconsistent depending on who you are. Some of the regulars appeared to receive a much warmer and more attentive experience, but as first-time customers, that was not the case for us at all. I came with my husband who got a haircut. When we initially stopped by the week prior just to make the appointment, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself looked cute with a relaxed, chill ambiance. It gave the impression of a place with good vibes and professionalism, which made us feel comfortable booking. Unfortunately, that positive first impression did not carry through during the actual visit. My husband's barber, Matt, had extremely poor bedside manner. He came across as unpleasant, dismissive, and overly cocky, which made the entire experience uncomfortable from start to finish. When you're paying for a service, the baseline expectation is at least a professional and courteous attitude, and that was completely lacking here. It felt unprofessional and unnecessary. On top of that, the haircut itself wasn't even good -- it was actually pretty crappy, which made the poor attitude even harder to overlook. If the service had at least been excellent, it might have helped offset the experience, but that simply wasn't the case. It's genuinely disappointing because the shop is cute and seems like it could have a nice atmosphere, but we refuse to spend money at places that operate this unprofessionally. Based on this experience, we will definitely not be returning.
