We needed a notary stamp and some pictures printed and some copies. She handled the people prior to us and when she got to us she took care of our needs. While she attended to us there were about 4 - 5 more customers that were gathered in line. Coolly and calmly she addressed each customer and their needs so professionally, and answered questions that were thrown at her while caring for the immediate customers. This is what great people do and how they respond under pressure. UPS is very lucky to have such an employee and their customers are lucky to. This is a great location that takes care of your packing needs and a warm welcome a well.

Can we please just admit talking down to a 70 year old woman and talking down to your stores customers is not a good idea for the UPS brand. Don't turn this around one me. I read numerous reviews where people talked about rude employees like Houston. (Say something to the wrong crazy person.... i.e. like the Outer Loop Texas Roadhouse situation). So clearly I am not making this up. This is happening at your business. How would you feel about a punk talking to your parents, like that? I am a protector of my family. UPS is a client of mine of my place of business and this affects the whole brands image. Then Derek threatening to call police on me really? As he was yelling real loud. That is ridiculous. Your employee started this situation Own it!!! I should call police on your employee for being verbally viscous to customers. I know the LMPD chief (Alumni Saint X) I know all the Jeffersonville Police. They got real problems like gun violence. I am a man of faith and community. Don't turn this around on me. The World and Life is hard enough for people. My mother has gone through a lot of strife in her life. My mother is still upset on how Houston and the business treated her. Can she at least come in and get an apology from Houston? Or written note digital or paper? I apologize for being hot, but Houston cannot talk to customers that way. This makes the UPS brand look bad affects us all in business. We can let this go. I appreciate the apology. Closure please as this is still driving me mad with this reply. Do better with this and learn from this situation. Own your employees actions. Accountability please and thank you. Prayers and Blessings. Good vibrations and energy to your all's families and store. Know running small businesses not easy in 2026. Consider me banned lol. Scary!!!! Now I have to go to Confession as two wrongs don't make a right. Max

The GE Appliances / Bodewell Service Clown Show…read more On 12/17/2024, a Bodewell technician diagnosed our GE refrigerator as needing a new upper (Fresh Food) Defrost Heater Assembly. Between December 17, 2024 and February 27, 2025, the GE Parts Distribution Center in Jeffersonville, IN sent the following parts to our home: o A mysterious 8-pound box (Photo 1), which nobody ordered. It was later determined to be a GE microwave power transformer. o 10 defective Defrost Heater Assemblies, which were destroyed in shipment due to incredibly inadequate packing. They shipped these very fragile, 3-foot glass tubes (Photo 2) in a 4-foot box, with virtually (in one case literally) no packing protection! Allegedly, Jeffersonville parts management was informed of this problem multiple times by three different departments: Customer Service, Consumer Relations and Executive Case Management. I was assured by representatives of each of these departments that they would "reach out" to the parts center. In GE-speak, "reach out" means to send an email without knowing who, if anyone, is actually going to read it. There was absolutely no follow-up! o Finally, we received a giant box filled with bubble wrap and an unbroken upper defrost heater. Just in case this one didn't make it intact, the parts center shipped two "extra" heaters in their normal shipping boxes. They were both broken. When the big day came for the Bodewell technician to install the new defrost heater, he discovered that he had ordered the wrong part number. The ten broken heater assemblies were for the lower defrost unit instead of the upper defrost unit. He ordered the correct part. FedEx lost that part, but a different Bodewell technician showed up to install it anyway. I wanted to cancel the appointment, but there is no way to contact the local Bodewell technicians directly. The technician tried to call me, but he had the wrong phone number in his computer. Then, like a magician, he pulled the correct defrost heater out of his truck! Unfortunately, he broke it during installation and had to order a new one. o I received the correct part on February 22, 2025. For some unknown reason, I also received yet another lower defrost heater (Photos 3 & 4). The Bodewell technician installed the new part on February 27, 2025. Out of curiosity, the he opened the other defrost assembly. We could hear it rattling around inside the box, so he took it outside on our lawn. Sure enough, that fragile, glass tube was broken in two places (Photo 5). Unbelievable! I have two parting observations: o GE Appliances has a department of five Executive Case Managers. They supposedly represent Kevin Nolan, President and CEO of GE Appliances. If you can make it past Customer Service and Consumer Relations, your assigned Executive Case Manager is there to take names and kick ass. IMHO, this is simply an illusion. Candace, my Executive Case Manager, told me on day one that she "now owned my problem." In reality, she did very little to help resolve my problem. She said she "reached out," i.e., emailed, the Director of Operations of the Jeffersonville Parts Distribution Center. She didn't return any of my four phone calls. But she did call me the day after each service appointment to see how it went. When I requested that GE replace my refrigerator, since they obviously couldn't fix it, she offered to sell me a newer model for $1799.50 -- $184 less than I can buy one at Lowe's or Home Depot. Candace also admitted that she has never met Kevin Nolan or actually seen him in person. o Finally, I was surprised to learn that -- in a 2024 study -- GE is ranked 7th in a list of the top 9 kitchen appliance brands. Based on my recent fiasco with the GE Appliances / Bodewell Service clown show, and the gazillion very negative Internet reviews, it's amazing that they even made the top 100!

These filter are expensive and have an electronic chip installed to communicate with the appliance. When my first set of three filters arrived, they were individually sealed in clear plastic shrink wrap. Inside the shrink wrap, at the connection point for the filters there was all kinds of dirt and debris. I called to express my concern over the contamination, and request replacement filters. I was given a Return Authorization Number and sent them back. I offered to send a picture, but the agent was not interested. Today I received my three replacement filters. They were similarly contaminated with dirt and debris. I have tried to locate a number to voice my concern, and discuss with a Quality representative, but have had no luck. Waiting on the Credit and Returns Department to call me back. SO Frustrated!

As others have noted, the space is rather odd - long and narrow and not a lot of equipment to use. My guess is that the majority of their business comes from the convention center across the street. Anyway, I needed to print out a document, sign it and email it back to someone - very 2008, I know. The first person that came by wasn't helpful at all and wandered away after 30 seconds. Fortunately one of the other employees stepped up and went out of her way to help me out. Problem solved, document signed and sent, all for less than $1. (Again, the person I worked with was amazing but that did not appear to be typical as most of the employees seemed to be avoiding human interaction).

Problem: it was Sunday afternoon and they were closed. Fortunately this Fedex location was a hop, skip and a jump from the Galt House hotel so I took a walk cover to ship my boxes. Coming form New York City, I have to say this Fedex location was cavernous compared to the ones I'm used to. This looked like a warehouse dedicated to printing and shipping! The store was very clean, brightly lit and well organized. The staff member who helped me was extremely helpful. He helped pack up my boxes, wrapped up the items inside and helped me check out very quickly. Afterward he gave my friends and I some great advice on nearby places he enjoys eating and hanging out. Always listen to the locals, I say! Fedex is not cheap, but it wasn't crazy expensive either. The key was these guys were open for shipping when no one else was. Kudos for great service and life saving hours.
