    A1 Estate Sales

A1 Estate Sales did my sale in Lansing, Illinois, last year, and I was nothing but pleased. Mike,…read moreVicki and Ralph were courteous, hardworking and professional. Almost all items were sold, and what didn't sell was cleaned out by the A1 crew in one day's time. Would highly recommend this service to anyone in the NWI/greater Chicagoland area!

Hello. I am…read morewriting to let everyone know the experience with A1Estate was a very terrible experience I trusted them with my estate and they did a very inconsiderate and unprofessional job. They set my sale up for May 29th and 30th but did not post the sale or notify and add pictures on May 28th after 6:00pm. Since they did not post my sale in an adequate amount of time the sale was a flop. There was a very low turn out. About 20 people on Friday and about 35 on Saturday. I am very upset and feel like they really screwed me. When I reached out to Chris the facilities to ask if the low turn out was due to late posting. His response was no. He should have admitted his failure but did not. This was very disrespectful. Then after the sale I asked Chris again if he thought we should do another sale but he said no. That was when I became really pissed. Why wouldn't he have accepted his failure and had some decency to try and do the right thing to satisfy the customer. I feel it's very important to make everyone aware of this poor service and inconsideration they showed so no one else experience this with them. There was so many flaws and inconsideration they rushed with the set up and put price tags on in a hurry on Thursday prior to the sell on Friday. The pricing was low on items it should have been higher and too low on items that should have been higher. There were broken items such as an expensive lamp and the worker did not acknowledge it. The worker bought a cabinet and did not ask me if I was ok with what she decided to pay. That's just bad business on top of knowing you did not uphold the contract and respect my furniture and property. In addition, They did a fill a bag on Sunday and gave a lot of my stuff away that was o value at very low cost. Again, I asked Chris the owner if he thought we should do another Estate sale and he said no. I think he should have either held off on the sale since he did not post it in time or he should have scheduled an another sale. This is bad business and I'm so very upset and disappointed. He has yet to call me to discuss this which shows me he don't care. When you hire a company to represent you and you trust them with your valuables it seems they would try to fix their ERRORS. I don't think any one should have to go through this. I want this information to get out so no one else perience this bits bad enough this is a lot on the homeowner but to be so inconsiderate really hurts Thank you. Delphine Wright.

Working with The Estate Edit was a pleasure from start to finish. Molly was incredibly organized…read moreand communicative, which was especially important since I was coordinating both the estate sale and the sale of my parents' home from another state. She took care of everything, making sure my parents felt comfortable throughout the process. She was especially patient and kind with my mom, who was anxious and overwhelmed preparing to sell their home of nearly 50 years and most of their belongings. The Estate Edit not only advertised and sold several large-ticket items before the sale, but also staged everything beautifully. They even created an INCREDIBLE, customized video that highlighted the items for sale while celebrating the history of our family home--a special touch we'll never forget. During the sale weekend, Molly checked in with me daily to update me on what was selling. What could have been a stressful, emotional process turned out to be smooth, professional, and even more successful than I expected--we sold and earned more than I had hoped, and their services were worth every penny. I can't recommend The Estate Edit highly enough!
