We…read morewere reluctant to enroll our kids in any activities due to the pandemic, but after touring the studio we felt very comfortable having our daughter come. They are taking excellent precautions to keep all of the dancers safe. Many dance studios are crowded into too small buildings and there is a feeling of chaos before and after classes. That is not the case here- the studio is spacious and well organized. The staff and instructors have a high level of professionalism and have been so sweet to my daughter. Our 4 year old is in a combined ballet/tap dance and loves going to dance class every week. She has been coming home and showing us what she learned in class and we can see she is making excellent progress. The studio does a great job in age appropriate dance instruction and has really made it fun for her. She has come home with special props and little treats she got during dance class; it is little things like this that make it extra special for her. We decided to take a chance and try it out. Nestled in a business center along with a closed restaurant and a dollar store is this awesome dance studio. Since my daughter has started coming here I've noticed her confidence level go up, she is so happy getting out all that energy from her system and applying it to flexibility and strength training in tumbling, jazz, ballet, and tap dance. She loves it so so much. She is always in the hands of professionals and trainers that fill their class with good music, moves that will warm her up for a successful performance at the end of the year. At the end of the year they show different performances that they prepare for during the year to end in a grand finale! So excited to see my little girl blossom and become strong & athletic. Can't wait to see her perform at the end of the year! I think it's every ballet parents' dream come true. Feels so rewarding! They have a a bi-annual show which has alway been a blast and very well produced!! My daughter has been apart of Dance Plus for the last 2 years and before then had done for a year (around 7 years old) They have done such an amazing job with her (she is legally blind) and have always been very accommodating. The best part is they Christ centered so the kids are always treated with respect and shown how to behave properly (as well as parents) No "Dance Moms" here lol Can't say enough nice things about it!!!

It's not like that here! They do some competitive stuff but very little. You won't find a bunch of competition teams here like they have at other studios. That's better because some studios focus on that and if your child isn't in that you feel ignored and like you don't matter. That happened at my daughter's last studio. This is my daughter's 3rd year at HSSD and she loves it there!
