Now, having said this about the prices, maybe this will change, since gas prices are always in flux. But this seems to have been the trend for the last few weeks--I'll pass here most days, and if I am driving, and heading up to the Queensway, I've noticed the difference in costs. This is one of the few Costcos in the GTA that has a gas station... it's a massive one. 16 pumps in total and they're the special hose that can streeeeeettttch so you dont have to line up to one side specifically. The other massive plus... you save at least 9 cents if not more compared to everywhere else. So why the 3.5 stars... the entry and exit is a nightmare. Because its so popular, it is not unusual to have the line up go out the gas station area, out the Costco Lot, go pass the road and spill onto the Queensway. This is not an exaggeration. It is a weekend reality. And if you're here for the long weekend, may you have a good coffee in hand cause you're going to be waiting for a long ... long ... long time. We're easily talking 25+ minutes. I recommend to head here when Costco store is NOT open. The gas station has earlier and later hours than the actual store. Not by much but at least 2 hours in the morning and an hour afterwards. You can probably get in and out within 10 minutes sometimes. This is considered a modern day miracle. Overall, I would say the pumps isnt confusing but so many people dont know their pins or take forever to read the screens or are completely confused that you need to slide in the Costco card first. It wasn't an emergency to get to a gas station, but I knew that I needed to find one sooner rather than later. Luckily, there was this Esso station on the southeast corner of Bloor Street West at South Kingsway. Perfect! I made a right turn and pulled into the gas station. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. It was doing fairly steady business when I was there at around 5:30 pm. I paid at the pump. I swiped my PC Optimum card, followed by paying with my credit card. I then filled up hands-free. It was an easy gas fill-up and transaction. This station has a Circle K. I went in to redeem a coupon for a free drink. I then got into my car and continued heading downtown. I actually pulled onto South Kingsway to make a right turn onto Bloor. I couldn't make a right turn onto Bloor directly from the gas station because it got busy all of a sudden. It was odd. This intersection does get busy. I had to wait a bit until the light turned green before I could safely make my right turn. Traffic was that busy along Bloor during rush hour. I had a pleasant gas-pumping experience here, along with a quick stop at Circle K. I like this gas station. It was clean and had everything that I needed. I'd return again when I'm back in the area. There are other gas stations closer to me but they are always, without fail, at least 2 cents more expensive. Which doesn't make sense to me because this one is right on Bloor St, and the others are closer to the Lakeshore. My only complaint is that, unlike some other Essos I've been to, it never asks if you want a receipt. I feel bad enough driving my tiny car around and using gas, I'd like to at least feel better by saving some paper!! There is rarely a line up, and no one gives me a hassle for parking for a few minutes if I'm picking someone up from the subway. All in all, this is my gas station of choice.

I also noticed that this station has brick interlock instead of cement/concrete, kinda unique. The staff inside often laughs at me because I pick up a case of crunch bars every now and then, which are always seem to be on sale...no complaints! Now accepting optimum points!
